Come to think of it think our S-league should just combine with MSL instead of having foreign teams in the league.

in the early 90s, I was a super fan of the Singapore National Team, the English Premier League didn't even interest me. That was because I could attend "live" games at the national stadium, thus the football stars were "closer"

Back in those days, the National Stadium was packed to the brim, sometimes I had to sit on the stairs because there were no seats if I we got there late. Everyone was eager to do the Kallang Wave. The atmosphere is something that words cannot describe, you had to be there!

With the team out of the league, i stopped watching local football....

now being out of touch with the local football scene for so long, I don't know where are the popular local players, so there's no interest anymore :(

I'm totally agree, those days i seldom missed any match held at kedah stadium. My time spent in alor setar is all about "live" football. My favourite team during that time : kedah, selangor, singapore and pahang
 

For both of Lions XII matches, I bet against them and won $$. :)

But while watching, I think they are not up to the mark. Poor finishing.
Maybe they should focus on their finishing. Another is their miscommunication among players.

So far 1win 1draw n 1 lost not too bad for a start!
 

need to improve on the finishing ...... even one of our goals was a KL own-goal ..... could have been 4-1

good performance and workload endurance

Ya...could have been better! Own goal because the defender leg longer reach the ball first! lol...

Lost 1-0 to terenggannu.

Should be still not bad as we limited the goals difference to only 1 goal for the Top 2 teams.

Another away game for the LionsXII a 2-1 win over Perak. Captain Shahril Ishak scored both goals, bringing his MSL tally to 5.
 

Wow the LionsXII seems to be doing pretty well for their first time in the league.
