can pls advice if it's worth it?

the best price i got for d200 is 2560, and 18-200 is 1260.
any idea how much the vertical grip cost?cant seem to find the price in the nikon pricelist.

MS Color prices are good if the best price you got for d200 is 2560, and 18-200 is 1260 inclusive of the free gift shown, I think it is one of the best.

PE: you're saying the free gift comes with the D200 or the 18-200? I see the piconly shows free gifts for the D200, and that is S$2988

yes, the freebies are with d200.not with 18-200.

and if i were to pay 2988 for the d200 + freebies, i reckon i rather get the d200 body only at 2560 from my source.the $428 diff can really be put to better use.

the only 'gifts' worthy of mention are...
the dry cabinet. (S$90+ for a 30L)
battery. (S$85/. from Lords).
CF Card. (Kingston ELite Pro 50X is only S$80+. Transcend 120X 2GB is only around S$70/.)

total = around S$260/.+-.


the rest can throw away.
i figured u'll get another bigger bag anyway. the lens cleaning kit, dun need it. the wat digital rubbish video, can burn it. the brolly??? wahahahahahaha


some simple calculations...
the best price for D200 body only is around S$2.5k from Lords.
a MB200 is S$230/. from Lords.
18-200VR is around S$1.3k from Lords.

there u go, around S$4k.

it'll probably cost u all in all, S$4.3k all from Lords.
yeaps, they do sell the dry cabinet and such... plus delivery too...


u draw ur own conclusion.

MSColor quoted my $1300 for the 18-200VR recently and absolutely refused to budge on the price. Lord's and TK both quoted $1250 without bargaining.

While MSColor's prices are generally good, I have found Lord's and TK to be almost always lower.

But I think the TS has clarify, the price is without premiums. I think is still a good price IF inclusive of GST

call me bias, but at 'that kind of location'...ermm.....

but i'm all ready to change my mind if you guys can give me a few tippers.

are they reliable?as in if i buy the set from them, anything goes wrong within a few days, can i just dump it back to them for a 1 to 1 exchange?
are their sets grey?should be covered by local warranty i reckon?:dunno:

u will be surprised. i know, becos i was surprised too! best price all the time!

i got most of my stuff from them. i always look for kelvin or james.
kelvin is good. no nonsense. no hidden costs and all. their NIKON stuff are all authorised goods and not 'grey' sets.

oh yes, the price i quoted u is GST included. the pricing is around there la.

as a consumer, u should really go to where ur dollar can really stretch. y go down hard on ur wallet? :dunno:

i have bought a number of things from Lords.... very good service... exchange for faulty products is NO PROBLEM.... i have bought a faulty D200 from Lords and exchanged after the grace period was over... no questions asked... very good service...

look for james or david.... :thumbsup:
