The CEOs of government link companies are annointed rather than appointed. just like how pee and pee choose their candidates. You are crap nevermind, we will groom you into a superstar.... sound like the CHC saga lol

I am still wondering what qualification the General has. He has a master of arts in science ? Where can I buy such a degree also ?

Anyway, any engineer with half a brain can tell you, when you run a system beyond its design load for a long term, it is not good for the physical infrastructure.

A private sector solution is to liberalize route monopolies. A lot of people don't know that buses are forbidden to run the same routes parallel to MRT tracks, because the profit of MRT operators "must be protected".

This way, the overloading on MRT lines is reduced, and efficiency is increased. If you want to see positive changes in how Singapore transport is run, sack the Transport minister and have me lead. I'll do it for catnip. Meow.

Then again , the roads are already too congested .......with the number of COEs that they are dispensing for private vehicles ...... leaves one wondering if the Transport Ministry is a more lucrative business than what we have come to expect .:think:

A politician will always be a politician ......you don't need the relevant qualifications for the job .....just need to know how to wayang. Did you know that they put an eye surgeon as the minister of the environment ...a surgeon as minister of defence ......etc....... ???????

A politician will always be a politician ......you don't need the relevant qualifications for the job .....just need to know how to wayang. Did you know that they put an eye surgeon as the minister of the environment ...a surgeon as minister of defence ......etc....... ???????

The eye specialist does not need to know anything about the environment to run the ministry. He has people below him do the work for him and he takes credit for it.
