how about selling those freebies from credit card sign up?

sign up for credit card is free, 2 year waiver and willl not use the card at all. so there is no hidden cost right?

Unless the product is stolen, there is really no ethical dilemma for selling the product.

If I bought Product X and a free gift comes with it that I don't use then I don't see any problems in selling the free gift. I would sell it as much as people are willing to pay for it.

In fact, I might sell this free gift (Which can be considered new) at a possibly lower price than what can be found on the market. Someone else will buy it and then would benefit from the lower price.

It's a win-win situation. I recoup some of my cost. Someone else gets a product he wants at a lower price.

look at Sasa cosmetic shops ...selling freebies .... mini SK2 which i'm sure its free from the agent they are selling . .ha ha ..... no harm i guess in selling freebies its a quality product :bsmilie:

Nothing is ever free, the cost of "freebies" is factored into whatever price you're paying for the service or product the freebie is associated with. Think that flush in the restaurant toilet is free? You bak kut teh probably costs 10 cents more because of that.

If there's a demand for the "freebie", sell it. If a buyer feels like paying $$ for that pack of SIA playing cards because he collects them, so be it...

Ppl here must learn to see the light. Have they not ask themselves:

1. If I did not buy that camera, would they have given me that "selphy" printer?

2. If I did not sign up with the credit card company, would they have given them that designer pen?

Wow, good point from thread starter. Selling freebies is immoral and wrong and a disgusting thing to do. Freebies should be given away for free. I need a CP510, anyone want to do the right thing and give it to me for free? :bsmilie:

Sorry TS, just joking la, fun and laughter.

For discussion purposes.

If you own it and if someone want to pay for it...what's wrong with that....same as if you are free and have nothing to do....and if someone asked you to take some photos....is it immoral to sell your service? So anyone free to help me with a golfing shoot on Tues? If you are free and for Free of course....

if canon can afford to sell their canon DSLRs at a fraction of the cost after a few months and still make profits, you should try to "earn" back at least some of the $ you donated to canon for the "freebies"...:bsmilie:

same as people auctioning off christmas/birthday gifts that they don't want. is that immoral? :dunno:

it's not wrong ... but if it's from your mother-in-law, don't let her know about it

Haha yea free gifts are YOURS.
You get to do whatever you want with them.
Just like how technically you could sell tissue paper you found on the floor, since you picked it up; it's just whether people want to buy la.

it's up to the buyers to do the research and bargain for lower price when they find you got it free, I guess? Else, everything has a value hee hee hee.
