Should CS implementing 25 posts before can start a thread? And deregistered member once they post spam thread.

Thanks for reporting this. We have been stopping spammers from several known domains (by IP) but they pop up more regularly than is funny using different domains.

We will look into implementing some kind of "moderation" period where members who newly register will have to wait for some time (eg. X hours or Y days) before they can start posting. That will definitely inconvenience some members, but will likely stop 99% of spammers since most spammers pattern is to register, immediately post a few msgs, then disappear, and they would not wait for the "moderation" period to expire.

I think it will be good if everyone do their part and alert the moderators if you spotted a spammer or something. The moderators might not be online 24/7 but they are doing what they can.

But that method may result in spammers hijacking other threads... Not sure if it will happen but probably just me being paranoid...

It might be happen. But most of time spammer like to start new thread since their spam headline will be readable on the forum main page.
