dennis, I didn't see your message till this morning. see that you stay in Bukit Batok. I could probably meet you on Sunday morning at Bukit Batok MRT. I'm not too sure regarding the eye cup mounting, but this rubber eye cup fits both 300D and 20D (which are supposed to be different).

Fits nicely on my 20D...quality is good. Low profile. Does not block LCD. OK with eyeglasses. Thanks mpenza!

I'm sorry I know nuts about eyecups. Is this to improve on the viewfinder for photographers who wear glasses? I don't wear glasses, can I still use it so that my left eye don't have to close?

fits great on my 20D !! thanks mpenza for providing this cheaper option.. I wear glasses and it helps to cushion my specs from colliding into the original eye piece. keeps my oily nose from rubbing the lcd screen too... hehe

Tested today on a 10D (courtesy of nightwolf). It doesn't fit unless you use a Canon eyepiece extender (http://www.adorama.com/ICAEPEX15.html). The problem is due to the gap between the viewfinder and the LCD on the 10D being too small.

here's how it looks like on my 10D with the eyepiece extender.

this is wat mpenza meant by the small gap. notice dat there's very little space bet the LCD screen and the bottom of the viewfinder.

this is how it looks like with the extender.

personally, i like the eyecup. now my face is even further away from the LCD screen - ie lesser facial oil and sweat stains on LCD screen. the eye cup is also quite comfortable, and does cut out all extra light. the only downside for 10D users is, of course, u need to go buy the extender to use it.
