You need a smart or intelligent charger to fully charge the Sanyo 2100mAh, only the GP Smart PowerBank is a smart charger. The rest are timer based chargers which cannot accurately charge a high capacity battery like the Sanyo 2100s.

All chargers sold in this MO are smart chargers which can charge any high capacity battery accurately and fully.

All 3 chargers (A, B & C) are intelligent chargers, meaning they can detect battery voltages and charge any type of NiMH/NiCD AA/AAA battery accurately and fully.

The difference between the 3 chargers are as follows:

A - 800mAh charging current, 2 independent circuits, constant current charging, discharging function, zero delta voltage detection, temperature and timer cut-off

B - 1000mAh charging current, 4 independent circuits, negetive flex pulse charging (pulse charging breaks down the crystal lattice that causes memory effect, makes discharging of battery unnecessary), cool charger, able to select 2 speeds of charging, negative delta voltage detection. Includes 4 x PowerEx 2000 batteries.

C - 500mAh charging current, 2 independent circuits, constant current charging, discharging function, zero delta voltage detection. Includes 4 x PowerEx 1800 batteries.

Of the lot, B is the most advanced.

Your Sanyo charger is an old model, it can only fully charge a Sanyo 1850mAh battery. The Sanyo 2100 battery will be undercharged in your Sanyo charger.

Euro version is the same as our singapore 2 pin. For the US flat pin version, you need a flat pin to euro pin convertor, it's easily available from most DIY hardware shop for abt a $1. Yes the 4000N can fully charge the Sanyo batteries as it is an intelligent charger.

I got a Sanyo fast charger presently.... but the manual only states batteries up to 1850mAh.... so mean to say that if I get 2100 mAh battereis.... it will spoil the batteries?

Both A & C has discharging function. Yes, discharging is a way of conditioning the batteries to preverse and extend the batteries lifespan. However, charger B uses a new charging technology known as negative pulse charging which actually removes the crystal lattice that forms memory effect in batteries, hence saving the time needed to perform discharging so that you can get fully charged batteries much faster.

Your Sanyo charger is a timer based charger, it is calibrated to fully charge the Sanyo 1850mAh battery only. If you use a 2100mAh, it will constantly be undercharged and the lifespan of the battery will be shorten.

Charger A is more sophisticated than the Sanyo charger as it is intelligent charger which can detect battery voltages and knows when a battery is fully charged. It has discharging and trickle charging function which the Sanyo charger do not possess.

The external lithium ion battery pack connects to the camera via a cable connected to the camera AC input (just like the DPS9000). The difference is that it is smaller (abt the size of a big pager), doesn't attach to the camera (which is a good thing since it doesn't add weight to the camera, making it bulky and flimsy when fixed onto the tripod). You can plug in/out the cable as and when your camera needs the extra power.

I have both versions. Default is US version unless you specify otherwise.

Yes, lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects by Maha USA/Taiwan. 1 year "1 for 1" local warranty by EastGear.com
