The guide was shipped yesterday. So in about 10 days time, it should arrive here. He has 2 copies left so I took it, making total 30 copies.

Nope. I still have no news from singpost about the collection yet. Basing on 10 days delivery. It should be in by yesterday (weekend should be included, based on my shipping of other items in the past). I will check with the seller/singpost if I still dont get any collection call by today. It is quite bulky, so may take a day or two extra for delivery.

Here is the seller reply :

This is not the first time I shipped to your country and I had packages that took only 7-8 days to get there, and some packages took 3 weeks. It all depends on how long a package sits at your customs office before they release it to you.


Anyway, I have purchased insurance (for book only does not cover postage cost). Let just wait a few more days.

I have got some fishing magazines sent via the US parcel service aka snail service. Sometimes takes 3 weeks to reach me but sometimes they will be MIA, maybe some postman happened to be keen fisherman as well. :think: Lets keep our finger cross and hope it arrive soon.

Sorry for the long silent, I have been caught up by some very unhappy happening lately. So didnt really come into the forum.

Don't worry. I am still checking with singpost every few days with the insurance number sent by the seller (I have an email copy of insurance receipt).

But still no news.

If you want your money back I can give you full refund now(though the insurance covers only the books, I will pay the postage cost from my own pocket). Just PM your Hp contact, account number & username. I will transfer the money back to your account.

You can verify with the seller youself if you wish to. (PM me for his email contact).

USPS will consider the parcel as lost after 30 days (23 Sep 04). But my initial finding is that for heavy item they may take much longer time.

Anyway I am still prepare to give full refund at anytime before this date.

Just hope that the parcel dont turn up after 20yrs later :bsmilie:

In case you think he has conned us, I doubt so for now unless he refused to hand over the insurance coverage which is about US160-170 after tax/admin deduction.

Anyway he email me a scanned copy of insurance receipt. It looks so real to me unless his also master of forgery :bsmilie:.

To be fair to him I will just wait till 23 Sep for update from him.
