the package comes with 2 metal rings, one for specially for the iphone 4/4s
you need to stick the ring around your camera's lens and the magnet on the lens will attract itself to the ring.
it is best to stick on a case and not on the glass.

i am experimenting on replacing my glass back with a aluminum back and will update.
the wide angle will have some vignetting the macro does not.
