Its rumoured that the Tamron Sp series is a kenko OEM.

Though the Sigma 1.4X TC is comparatively good, its compact design limits its usage with certain lenses. E.g. Sigma's own 105mm EX macro cannot be used with the Sigma 1.4x TC. However, the Kenko can be used with it. I believe Sgt. Pepper was using that combination for many of his excellent macro shots.

Duh .. oh ya am looking for Canon also .. last time I check the price, the 1.4X Sigma is 285++, but not sure they got stock anot. The Kenko Pro is 385 (???) in TCW, they say they have stock ... other shop say all they have is 2x :cry: ... MSColor said they will re-check the Sigma again and see if they can get one and for how much ?

Tin Cheong didn't have stock for the EOS mount Pro 300 1.4x when I visited. Sigma and Tamron SP teles are both more expensive than Kenko Pro 300 in Hong Kong.

Kenko Pro was listed at $350 in TCW previously.
