Just some points to note:

And one more thing, try not to use Mastercard to do your online purchases.. DBS ones...

what's wrong with DBS Mastercard ?

Glad to see that there are some ppl here who are interested.
Some clarification:-
1. Limit to books (but open to books in general, except R(A) and XXX stuff, not just photography books) only cos ease of import - DVDs, electronics, other stuff may be difficult to pass thru Customs or have to pay duties.

2. Upfront payment will be based on 50% of the cost of the book converted to S$ using the avg S$:US$ rate, balance 50% will be adjusted to weigh in share of shipping and any significant changes in exch. rate.

Since there is enough interest, I will start another thread to take orders. If all goes well, collection will be on Wednesday evening next week, with the order going out on Thursday or Friday.

an 'obvious' piece of advice for prospective bird photographers (not just the JBP kind - you don't need Arthur Morris' book for JBP photos :) ) is to get books on local singapore birds.... gaining knowledge on your 'target' is important...

once you realise how tiny most of them are (like the sunbirds....argh), you'll be saving up for a 400/2.8+ 2xTC or 500/4+1.4xTC (in addition to the 1.5/1.6 DSLR multiplier) :)
