 You reckon it works? First there's the usual dome, then now comes the inverted dome. Seems like Gary's treating the world of consumers as paying guinea pigs to his creations.

Gary's inventions probably work, but I just hope he makes up his mind on the optimal diffusers design. Look at Stofen Omnibounce: do they release a new version every few months? Perhaps that's the difference between paying for a product that has gone through corporate R&D and an individual's trial and error. :dunno: Just my thought for all to reflect.

While you may be wondering whether to continue funding Gary's product testing by purchasing his products, I will be utilising my new-purchased LSPJ fully before embarking on another diffuser purchase. Cheerios! ;)

The Inverted Dome is not another LSPJ, it an ADD ON onto the top of the LSPJ. :)

another MO for the dome?

Or find a reflective plastic bowl to put on LS2PJ? :dunno:

i haven't read anything on this, but my impression was that the "extra" dome was for the situations when you want to soften the direct flash when the dome is mounted - in which case, pick and choose your favorite diffuser. but typically when using the LFPJ, you would either have it tilted or straight up to the ceiling, in which case there is no need for the dome attachment (if the ceiling is too low and using wide angle, you can still use the flash built-in diffuser to diffuse the flash).

hi

i picked up my P1 LSPJ from Cathay (fyi S$70) today. noticed it's bluish tinted plastic. the P2s & P3s were all colorless. has anyone noticed this? will it effect color tone of flash? thanks!
