btw, $125 seems a bit low from my experience. MS Color generally quotes $135-140 with GST if I'm not wrong.

not really ;p I was very tempted once. I've gotten the 50mm macro. Thought the macro would make the lens at this focal length more versatile.... there's one stop loss though at the widest aperture.
