after seeing the contestants photo, my general feeling is that you need to improve a tad on your smile.
There are many people in this thread supporting other contestants (a bit rude may i add) but you may have already realised, the majority of contestants flashed a radiant smile and that made a difference. The trick here is to make the judges (voters in this case) feel good enough to vote for you.
Doubt my credibility if you would, but i have seen enough pageants where really potential contestants crashed out because they thought the judges (voters) like the idea of a cool and stern look (aka fashion spread look). But no, that's not the case.
I've visited your blog and i think you have a very nice smile. Put that asset to use and you stand a higher chance of winning. 70% of your score is dependent on the judges and you got to make them feel good enough to give high scores.
My $0.02 worth, though others may beg to differ.

Yes I do agree that the photo didnt do me any justice.
There were many other photos from the photo shoot.
But the in-charge chose this photo for me.

I have no say in it.
However, the photos are like for 30% of the judging criteria.
So there's another 70% that is left for the judge to decide... on the actual event itself.
Hence, honestly I think how I perform on the actual day itself is far more important than this voting criteria.
