I preferred your "red man" shot.. good effort nonetheless!

Thanks, redtealongan :)

The abstract light painting series was done because it reflected my state of mind last night, I simply had no mood to do any straight photography.

The red man happened to be taken on the previous Friday. It seems that Friday is a good day for exploring light painting :)

CNY 2009@Chinatown Singapore (Continue): Too good to be missed | Snapshot

As I've taken quite a number of photos at Chinatown yesterday, so decided to put up a few more of these, and take a break from taking fresh ones.

Hi Luna_sea83 :) Thanks for dropping by. Paiseh, I only started to play with photography seriously from September 2007... This year made an effort to embark on this APAD project so that friends in CS can give me comments and help me improve :bsmilie:

Yes, I like B&W... I like colours too, but for some shots, black & white can remove unwanted distraction and bring out the mood/subject/storytelling better :)

Check out more of my photos here.

Please continue to give me feedbacks on my photos!

Hi gglankie, Falcon,

Glad that you like the CNY@Chinatown set :) Somehow, I still wish composition can further improve :bsmilie:

It's fun to go Chinatown at this time, really can feel the festive mood there, thus even simple shots can bring out the mood :bsmilie:

Wah. So strict. Such places also prohibit photography.

Happy Chinese New Year to All!

The slight traffic jam around Chinatown allowed me to take this photo at this angle. Another photo with the complete view of the Yuan Bao is found here.
