Indeed! But I think many people were probably asked to take longer rest for CNY since economy not as good :dunno:

Nope I was thinking to myself,"Don't wake up yet until I have taken your photo!"

I took a few exposures in colours, then processed in Nikon Capture. I regretted not remembering to capture it in B&W mode right from the start though, lol.

This panda stuff toy was given to my by a student. He bought it back from Chengdu after the 2007 Earthquake at Sichuan (which also affected Chengdu). I really appreciate much. It's been with me in my office since then.

Archived: Street building at Mae Sot | Karen Education Project Expedition, June 2008​

This was a photo taken at a street in Mae Sot, after traveling overnight from Bangkok to Mae Sot on coach for 6+ hours, and another 30 minutes ride on a friend's pickup from terminal to our temporary resting place. Taken with Ricoh GRD2, my only camera, as it was quite a hectic trip, and I did not want to bring my DSLR along.
