You have a rare talent.

Thank you for visiting. I just want us in Singapore know that they are people still need our help and love. And to the poor citizens especially the children in Cambodia that there is hope. Be strong, little one!

Andong Village, Phnom Penh - Now, swimming in sand. In June, floating in the flood.
t’s the month of March, toddlers are still enjoying sand bath but come June when the Monsoon hit Cambodia, this slum area in Andong will be flooded and I doubt the babies would enjoy floating in the flood. It has happened every year ever since the people were evicted here in 2006. It is a land with no drainage.

Hi, thank you for coming forward. I have posted the conditions of each country (Cambodia, Philippines and Indonesia) in my Flicrk website. Sorry, I am not so organised person...so got to browse around :)

I am just a volunteer and not belonging to any of the NGOs. But I am helping them to connect up with organization that may help and meet their needs. Of coz, many times I have to personally involve in funds raising through friends that I know.

Anyone may help in different capacity - financially, involve in the project (but need time and commitment) and lastly pray for us who are in the front-line.

Whatever religions you may belong to, please pray for me. It is extremely tough to work in the ground. Potential risk in dealing with gang and corruption.

Stung MeanChey, Phnom Penh - Life of a Scavenger Boy
This boy from Stung Meanchey is not older than 13. He was working after school hours to hunt for recycle items such as bottles, metal containers and metal pieces.

Through my driver and also my interpreter I asked him why did he need to do so, digging through all these smell and dirty garbage? The answer is common to what I have heard from scavenger kids of Philippines and Indonesia. They need to pay for their school fees or supplement their families' incomes.

Different photographers approach different genres of photography in their own ways.
Ardaan, your style is unique and your capture of the spirit of the human beings conveys lots of messages.
Personally I enjoy your style of PP as well.
Keep your pictures going, and may all the praises from the CSers around here propel you to greater heights in both your work as well as your photography.

Beautiful and touching pics.

They are the kind of pics that tug at people's heartstrings for that gravely needed attention these underpreviliged children of the world need. I am also happy that there are fellow CS users that can identify with such a noble cause through the replies you got so far.

To be fair, I've seen your other threads like that on Bali and I can't help but say you definitely do better than a lot of Bali threads out there! That's because you can see a different aspect when shooting which most couldn't.

Thank you for the kind comments. May be I do not see thing as beautiful or ugly. I see thing as what they are and who they are. I do not know if I do better than others but i hope that many many more can do better than me in conveying the message of human injustice to all corners of the world and stir a noble movement together to influence pollitic and learn to love. :)

thumbs up....
Thank you for the encouragement. :D

Thank you sir. Your name sounds so familiar. Have we communicated before ? I see that you like IR. I have a modified D70 that shoot IR but I am again not good in Post processing, would you mind me tagging along with you to learn how to PP that ? ;p
