Hi vince123123 and the rest of concerned fellow photographers,

If you are interested to view the pictures. Its best you contact the photographer himself, Drumma

I have nothing against shooting controversial pictures, only against posting/exhibiting in places where there are a lot of young people around. It should not be seen as a norm and young people should not be encouraged to follow such trends.

Drumma must be a young chap. Hence, we should exercise a consultative approach to educate him on this matter. I am sure he has learnt a very valuable lesson on this matter. There is a lot of difference between talking and putting things into action. You can critique others or even put down others but when you show pictures like that. You have to be responsible for any consequences.

I am not posting anymore on this matter. Since any action will attract unnecessary attention.

Cheers and have a nice day,

Wah...
So many pple in this forum wanna play police...

hey! jsbn! impersonating a police is an offence rite?

.

Why don't you destroy sggirls first?

TL, I suggest you have your discussions on the Undesirable Publications Act back in the thread you've created for this. By bringing in other matter into this thread doesn't show very much focus in the discussion.

Special thanks to Mr Kovit Ang for his support in JY's and Minyi's first fashion shoot :)

I kinda apprehend what you were trying to do, but I really don't understand why is it executed this way.

Many queries...

1. Assumingly Hair/ makeup put in a fair bit of effort there, through your image, you sank a lot of credentials from hair/ make up away.

2. I also think brown, red, beige is a total mismatch, I can't keep my eyes focus on your image, rather painful my eyes wonder around finding for a focal point.

3. Why would make up stop at face, would probably be more flow if you carry on with neck and further. It's like half screwed now.

4. The tiger looked cheap in the shot, assumingly everything shot is supposed to have an emotion ain't it.

5. What really happened to styling and teamwork really? Armed with a crew like that, I would really think it's under achieved. Did anybody really saw a bad image at the point of shooting though?

Pardon me..

3 things i wish to comment..

firstly, the photo does not work for me..
even from a layman point of view...the lightings is bad..the choice of clothes and make-up seems off and very importantly...when you wish to conceptualise such a theme and your choice of angle of this shot...please pay attention to the floor!!
somehow, i cant stand the groove lines of the ceramic tiles...
perhaps..if its well-polished marble tiles, and with reflection. it might just look more interesting..

secondly, i understand your stance on voyeurism...
i have not seen those pictures posted by fellow CSer personally and hence, i cannot comment on that....but by threatening to report to the police everytime u see something "not legal" here is not the right solution..
I mean, this is clubsnap..and not kids' central website.....we should see everything with a broader mind..
having said so, i hope there wont be anymore "accidental underwear shots" in CS...
its really in bad taste...

lastly, and the most important
Kovit sucks....
Someone mentioned that is a real tiger skin??
Poached, killed...and skinned so that it can appear with beautiful models?
He bought this tiger skin because it is cool to have???
Perhaps, I should check if its a legal item in Singapore and report to the police if neccesary too..

I prefer to read this than to be blind.

It is really an example for all of us!

It is a lesson of wisdom, good taste and legal knowledge.

Go Global !

It is their first attempt at fashion shoot :) Didnt want to influence much and let them learn. If I say do this do that...it becomes my shoot and not theirs.

I believe the valuable comments will work towards their long fashion development

Nobody can succeed at the first try but we have to begin somewhere

First part.

Yes I am sure your comments are good for them to learn and appreciate. Thanks for your valuable input

Second part.

If you have known me. You would know I view things with a broad perspective. Dont ask me why I jump over this particular posting. You would need to see the pictures, the theme, title and concept before you make any sound judgment. Its not just bad taste. It broke the law. Simple as that.

Third part.

Dont be judgemental on things you heard without being the first party who have seen or directly involved. You will end up making a lot of assumptions which are not true. View things with a broader perspective as you have just said. Dont jump to conclusions unnecessary and call people in such a way.

Having said that. I hope you guys will bear in mind the pressure Drumma is facing at the moment. For those whom do not know what happened or have viewed his works that is questionable. Please refrain from taking sides. It will only create more problems for Drumma by directing unnecessary attention on what he has done...

Remember this guys. Even though the moderator has removed the offending thread. It does not meant he has not posted before and it does not mean he has not committed a offence by posting what he did. Ignorance is not a effective excuse.

It will be best to just let this be a postive lesson to him and let him move on.

Without mentioning economic disaster, international peace and intergalactic equilibrium.;)

You saved the world as we know it and we should be thankful!

Its totally bad taste, degrades women, promote crime and racial disharmony.

Once again, I think we shd focus on this photo in this thread and put the discussions on Drumma on the other thread.

Edit: That thread is here: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?p=2486003 so lets leave this thread for the posting of commnets on this photo. :)

very bad angle! the compostion is good if u had taken directly above and rotating the camera vertically. placement of tiger head to her is in a very werid position.

why dont u just place the camera on the floor and shoot the model and tiger as if they are looking at you. that's a more appropiate and much better angle. use a 24mm can already. too wide can cause distortion.

let me get this right?
you were there guiding JY and Minyi on their first fashion shoot?

this image does not work, posting this image is doing them harm instead of good.

I'll be frank here, what I see are appalling stylistics and angles.

Your lighting does not convey any mood of domination at all. This lighting problem seems to accentuate the lack of depth in the region where the space of the model and the tiger reach a confluence.

Do work on your object/model placement, because centralisation, does not intrigue as well as offsets in a frame.

Yes, I have to agree with the rest.

The photo is quite bad for many reasons - reasons which have already been posted.

Dun really know what is the focus. Tiger, drawn face, or what. Everything seems messy and yet clean. No feeling at all. Clothes also competing attention with Tiger
