im still quite new here, but i kinda notice that you seem to have quite a lens arsenal, do you own a cam store or an avid collector (nothing wrong with that, i have a friend who collects minolta bodies)?
so next time u know who to look for if u need to borrow lenses ..heh heh:devil:

20mm f2.8 lens is a very sharp lens.. After conversion become 30mm.. which is a waste for such a fine lens.

I love the lens, sharp and distortion is well handle...

Regards,

Hart

Oh my... it's been really a long time I didn't log in and check things out here... almost cannot find Minolta thread  tot totally wiped out...

Then I found this legacy thread... has become a nicer name

20mm f2.8 is a great lense... i luv wide angle and i luv this 20mm  ...

Welcome back -7- . Haven't seen you for quite a while alright.:)

This lens is truely very sharp. Colour and contrast are outstanding.

The angle is just right for me... I love wide angle too! I think from now on, this lens will be on my camera most of the time.

Yupe, has been quite a long while... was busy with new job & new house... everything stabilised and life back to normal...

:-) I am using it for 2 purposes... one for interior design shooting (on 7D) and most importantly, i use it for personal hobby (on BnW film). I like the perspective and dramatic feel wide angle gives  20mm & 28mm are always with me when shooting on BnW film

Cheers!
