hi darren, or anybody,

i've PMed you (darren) regarding this issue.. bandwidth cap of 1.5 gb ? i know 100mb users have 1 gb cap and 200mb users 1.5 gb cap..

but ain't the caps limiting ?

suppose let's say i post 10 pictures on to a clubsnap forum as attachment for comments.. each picture is 200kb so 10 pictures is 2 mb. suppose this page gets viewed 200 times by 200 different people (or a few same people who refreshed the page) then the bandwidth usage would be 400 mb ! so if i post 40 pictures, i'd basically exceed the bandwidth cap... :(

so now it begs the question.. is the bandwidth cap too limiting ? (actually i signed up for the webspace thinking it was unlimited bandwidth, but oh well, i'm okay with a limit but 1.5gb.. ?)

regards,

I very much agree. The reason why i signed up for cs was that there wasnt a bandwidth limitation and now there is. I think this limitation posed to exisiting subscribers of the service is pretty unjust and unfair.

just my 2 cents worth.

PS: This is not meant to be personal but really I think it should be said as I believe many feel this way.

Hi Everyone,

We are working to address this issue now. Would appreciate your patience on it.

Hi All,

There's currently no bandwidth cap on any of the plans you have signed up for.

The bandwidth meter is just a gauge of how much traffic you are attracting to your site.

We set the meter to max out at 1Gb, but seeing that some people have already exceeded their "limit" and getting emails on it, we have adjusted the limit to 10Gb for new signups.

For existing signups, you can set the meter limit yourself by clicking on the icon next to the text (icon popup says "Click here to change traffic limit) and entering a number between 1-10.

thanks again to to the CS admin.... :)
