Micro-Nikkor AF 200mm f/4 D ED - So hard to get

Bro sorry to OT but just curious how was the 105mm macro lens? Is it enough to shoot bugs? Actually was stuck halfway hanging as the price of nikkor and some 3rd party ones prices is 40-50% difference

Its one of my fav and imo more than enough for insect photography~ Really boils down to ur budget..Tat said, i will recom the 105VR over its 3rd party counterparts anytime anyday

Sorry to ask...I am going over to hk to get the 105mm VR macro & 50mm f/1.4 but was not sure if they have stock at mansheng...should I call to mansheng before i go hk or?

Always compare prices in SG and give them a call to check for stock availbity if you can..

It boils down to ur needs and expectations... Now u r comparing apple to orange.
If let say choosing over 105 VR with Sigma 150 or Tammy 180, and u require a longer working distance,by all means go for the 3rd party ones.

Think its better if you google (those lens u targetted) them up and read up on their reviews and pro/cons before u commit to any purchase.

why... after 1 days FX entry level, is going to upgrade,
so i not need to found another lens for future.

i also downgrade from D700 it's not a important for me. DX or FX.

135 = 200mm but's still cheaper version of AFS 200mm f/2G on FX.

don't worry about the test on sample cause not enough lighting and adjusted enough ISO, cause my shutter speed is lower than 1/40s it's sure you get the worst image quality.

after i got time sure i will let you know about that.
