Take care!
I will ! :)

Nice shot, but remember that health always comes first

Hi Jeezuinn,
will take care of myself (:
Well timed to show only light streaks

Picture will be enhanced when shutter exposure start timing matches moving traffic light timing and yields red and yellow light streaks without stationary vehicles visible in the picture.

Hello Uncle Squid,
Like uncle Night86mare said, I think that the variance on both sides adds more interest for #114. Thanks for C&C!

you don't think that variance on both sides of the road adds a bit of interest ?

of course, i would prefer a bit more motion on the left side from what is presented in #114.

Hello Uncle night86mare,
thanks for your c&c :D
wa your photos really damn power!
enjoyed viewing them all :D
keep up the good work!
Hi jeffchanjj,
glad you like them :)

nice sky colour but the bridge and sea are under-exposed.
Hi thanks for your C&C. I have another in #115. For this one, I am trying to have the MBS more focus in the composition and rest of the elements in the background and not too bright.
Maybe MBS lighting is not strong enough to be in main focus. Will try again..Thanks.:)

This is brilliant. there are many things i like about this shot: the grad blue in the sky, the shade of blue, the movement of the cloud, the reflection of the tower (how vivid the colours, as well as the grad change), the smooth water/shadow, the hint of pink from sunset.
My only nit, or how i would improve this: to crop off the bottom as there is too much dark space.
very lovely colours and definition.

#115 is nice :)

I echo emlee's view on cropping off the "dark" water portion too.

Maybe you can try pushing up the levels or do some shadow / highlights recovery to bring out more details on the bridge part.

Ya so near my place~!!

Taken at the bridge where link both hotels Miramar and River View? :)

not that one, there is another one nearer to the intersection along havelock road where you can make right turn into chin swee :)

Hi emlee, thanks so much and happy that you like it. I want the rest of the elements like the helix bridge and the bowl to be more in the back ground and be more focus on the main MBS. If the lighting on MBS will be more contrast to the rest, I think I will have a good composition for the viewer too. I did a bit of gradient to the sky but not the WB. just saturate and add vibrance. Thanks again and noted on the crop.:)

Hi Taurean, thanks for visiting my thread and thanks so much for your C&C. Btw I did try shadow/highlight on the bridge area but will not work for what i want to compose. But i will take note. thanks again..:)

Hello bro. NNB,
I dont know where it is and I did not know you stay around this place. Actually a few weeks ago, we went to great world city to fetch my mum and on the way to dinner and happen to pass this place. I also remember this photo posted by uncle night86mare. So I told my dad about this and we when back there on saturday evening.:)

Oh i stay behind Great World City. No wonder i find the place damn familiar.. Gd composition and rendition in B+W. Keep it up yeah.

A thing to nitpick will be the lights trails nt prominent enough on the left with traffic going against the direction you shooting. The traffic junction there is one of the longest i have to wait before light goes green whenever i drive through. You may have to wait abit longer when all vehicles are on the move, so the cars are barely visible and the light trails will hv a stronger impact.. Little signs of coma as well, and bit of flare, u shoot the long exposure at night with filter and stop down alot?:)

Hello bro. NNB, oh you stay so near to great world city.. and yes, this shot it quite near to it.
Ok, I will take note of your C&C. Btw, what is the meaning of "little signs of coma" ?
Thanks:)

Thanks:)

Coma refers to the blurring of objects at the edge of the field of view, is quite evident in the top of the tallest building on the left and the building in the middle. Coma varies directly with the distance from the optical axis and with the square of the aperture. So stopping down helps abit..or amybe they are merely haze, i could be mistaken :) Ur aperture for this shot is?

Hello bro. NNB, thanks but I still dont really understand 100%. Btw, I shot at f16 45sec. exposure without any filters and there was slight haze I think.. maybe is also the pp.

actually that just looks like she burnt the highlights after they had been blown. :)

f16 actually is very close to triggering the diffraction. f8-f12 maybe the safer range.
