Nice series MGohzxc! Keep it up and show us more photo. Hehe... :)

Hey Jeffrey, thanks! Your pictures are nice too :)

I like #57
Can't really explain why :embrass:
You might get a lit of comments about the empty sky, but somehow I find that it works. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hello Uncle ZCA,
thanks for the C&C. I'm trying out a new technique in photoshop and it's to my liking.

#58 looks like the wrong height to shoot this at. The bridge seems to intersect physically with the green factory building in the distance. Probably shooting from a higher position would be beneficial.

... before you say "but I'm not tall enough!", I understand the limitations :) Maybe gotta set up for your dad's height and ask him to squeeze the trigger!

#59 hor... the horizon looks curved somehow. Dunno if it's an optical illusion, or my screen/eyes playing tricks on me.

i thought a centred composition would work better here.
Hello Uncle Night86mare, thanks for the C&C.
After looking at it this morning, yes centre composition actually works better. Thanks:)

Hello Uncle ZCA, it is very tall at the beginning of the bridge. My tripod is to the tallest and is difficult for me. My dad set it up for me and I cannot reach the camera to do the setting and focus. So what my Dad does is he carry me up to reach to the camera and I did the setting and focusing and then shoot. So this is the highest I can get. So funny and lucky no people around to see it.:)

So anyone going there to shoot this bridge and you want to seperate more between horizon and the bridge must bring a tall tripod or you must be very tall. Maybe like your height.
And also a long walk in.;)

I did check a few times on the horizon but just to post it if anyone can see it. Yes is curved.
I guess this can be corrected with lens distortion setting. Thanks:)

#62 looks quite "power" (sorry can't think of a better adjective!) with the nice tones and strong subject. My main nitpick is that the treeline in the distance cuts the subject on the left side. Possibly 2 steps to the left would have helped.

any reason why #61 shows the ramp in motion as well? Hand-shake or intentional?

Wow... #62 It is really tough for me to shoot at this tree even is low tide. There are alot of big rocks there and is very slippery. My Dad also have a tough time helping me to move around where I want the shots to be. If I take 2 steps to the left, then is the big rocks. Then it start to rain and so scary because of the thunder. So i have only taken about 6 to 7 shots only. But i will definitely go back there again.

#61 - i thought it was quite nice for the color palettes and its horizontal motion symetry. Is something that I recently trying out alot and again ICM inspiration from many photographers in flicker. One of them is Michaelwr. Is really cool.

Thanks.

I like this Manita!
Very different! it has a mini-ICM feel to it
good job :)

Hi Zul, How are you? Yes is mini ICM done in photoshop and I really like the processing very much. But is not easy and quite tough. Also learning to understand. For this Sembawang beach ramp, I actually did think of doing it in ICM before I shoot. So I say that this composition was done with this ICM idea after I saw this ramp. Glad you like it and thank you. Shall practice more.:)

A very commendable effort for #61 Manita!

For #62, I think you have done well in the compositional aspect. On hindsight, I think the tones are a little flat. Boosting the contrast a little might help create the impact which I feel is lacking. :)

Hello Bro. Alvin, Nice meeting you again at the outing. Actually I was watching you all doing composition so I can learn. He.. he..;)
Yes you are right. Quite flat and too blend i think for #62. I have one more to post in color and will take note. Thanks for the C&C.
Hope to see you again and learn.:)

For #61, very inspirational from Michaelwr.

Manita... I like your ICM shot... niceeee.

62 actually not very hard to improve... all you need is more contrast...

BTW did you get your UWA yet? If shoot 62 with UWA, will be very nice.
