Hi Edutilos, thanks for dropping by and thanks for the C&C. Just got back from school after supplementary classes. As always, I will read a few times before replying.
I always like your C&C because they are truthful and meant a lot to me to improve myself. As for photoshopping, yes, sometimes I get carried away up to the point of say near perfection and I know is not good. It is also because at the same time I am learning poster design and in forums with such group in the USA and photoshop is important for such poster designing. So I maybe influenced by that but not so much for the two pictures "fury" and "centigrade" that is shown here.
On that sunset day, the sky changes the light too many times and are shown in my raw files. I was very careful not to over do this two photos and if I remember what I did was just to de-noise, correct lens distortion, saturate and add vibrance slightly, add a GND for the sky to balance the whole photos, shadow and highlight, apply different sharpening and finally crop. Maybe a few more things I cannot remember.
I honestly tell you that self critique is so difficult for me and sometimes I feel so disappointed with myself. The number one thing on my mind is composition, subject and perspective. When I don't really get all this, my keyboard and mouse start to move so fast in photoshop. For this two colorful photos, the elements or subject is not quite there but honestly don't fit into perspective and angles and leading lines are not quite right and not to my liking too. The only thing was really the sky that was amazing and I don't really know how to explain the colors before I even start to process.
By now, I have been in photography about one year now and I am able to identify some issues a little more.. I think so. I really love landscape and seascape photography because of the wonderful of colors and perspective that is so amazing and breathtaking. I want to explain more in my heart but I don't know how to put it in words. I am always so excited every time I get to go out and shoot sunset or sunrise and also get carried away taking too many shots like in Punggol, so many rocks and some of them are so beautiful.
For this 2 pictures, I want to send you the files to take a look and maybe you can help me with this.
Thanks so much....
