I like to comment about this shot and I learn a lesson from it. Looking at others picture is easy but going to the same place to shoot it was not easy at all. Luckily I went there early to setup and it took me a long time to compose. The wall was blocking me and the angle or view was very limited. My height is short and I was struggling to move and get the view of Duxton, skyline and the building below me into one frame.I borrow a stool from one auntie so that I am able to reach slightly higher than the balcony. Finally I was able to get quite a decent angle and view of this shot in this frame. Thanks for viewing.

That location needs quite a bit of wideness - to be fair, you could be considered to be limited by your equipment. It is a nice sunset that you captured, but the Pinnacle seems placed too far to the left edge for my liking. Perhaps with a 15mm widest perspective, a vertical frame could be considered instead. Right now, the two focal points that I can see - Pinnacle and that building to the right that is darker; divide the eyes. It's still fine, but it is perhaps better to have the roads leading to something more outstanding.

You can also consider going before sunset actually, with the right cloud cover, the rightmost "slab" is lit up nicely to add even more focus to it. #28 is composed well enough, though somehow I might consider going leftwards to manage the prominence of the buildings on the left. The lighting is not so optimal there though.

Anyways, you'll grow taller soon, so no worries about that! :)

Study hard for your exams.

Hi Edutilos, thanks for the C&C. I agree it has to be very wide and is left heavy. I tried cropping the left and it looks boring to me. Yes the road leading to the Pinacle. After adjusting the lens correction, vertical and horizontal, I lost alot of the road leading there. I also tried vertical but the lens hitting the balcony and I was afraid that the camera will drop.:bsmilie::sweat: #28 was a pano try for me and experiment with it I want to go back again and maybe not to the highest level and do a vertical. Is study time....Thanks so much.:)

Hello uncle clement, thanks for visiting. Is just like writing compo. I just write what i know and what I remember.
Cannot help to PP and shoot la. I am still not good and also learning to improve. Thanks:)

Actually, you're already very good & I can honestly say that you put a lot of older folks (myself included) to shame with your photo taking & pp skills.

Keep up the good work

Hi sfoto, thanks again for your C&c. Is already been processed but will take note.

nice picture i got e feel of it :)
Hi kitaro9202, glad you like it and you did imagine on what my thought for this process.. Thanks.

For the record, Manita shoots all these pictures herself and she possesses sufficient knowledge of PP to do what she has done here. The people who have wasted their time sending such boh liao PMs should put their time to better use, such as actually bothering to try out these things and realise that it is easier than it looks, if you have the passion.

and manita has a noise exhibition under her belt too:bsmilie:

met her once:think: have to say i'm very impressed and oddly jealous:sweat:

but remember... keep up the good work. nowadays ppl want overtake is very easy if ur too lax:)

WOw, you have a mentor to guide you and bring out your talent too. Looking forward to more photos...and don't worry too much, if you are too lax it is still very difficult for me to overtake you :D.

Do well for your studies and maybe the next time we see newspaper article: ''Talented young local photographer scoring 280 for PSLE'' hahaha.
