Hello uncle scubagolfer,
Thanks for visiting. I think everyone is learning to improve and i think important is to work hard if you want to achieve something. I realized that learning photography is alot of hard work and homework by yourself and cannot depend on someone to teach you or guide you or tell you how to shoot all the time. i spend hours and hours on photoshop, reading and so on, learning by myself how to do it. I also wish I can spent hours and hours to shoot but I can't. I have to depend on my Dad to bring me out and of course school and homework too. I received alot of PM saying thing like,: oh.. maybe you ask someone to shoot for you or maybe you ask someone to PP for you. And I feel so sad.:cry:
Friends are very important to me and I dont wish to achieve stardom but just enjoy my passion. I am just a little girl trying to chase up with everyone and learning from all the photos posted in CS. I remember one of the sunchasers outing with you and Mrs. Scubagolfer and I enjoyed so much. You and Mrs. Scubagolfer and the dog are always my friends and others too.

am shocked that some people actually say you didnt take those shots or someone does the PP for you .... aiyo, sour grapes I suppose, but no worries dear, you know we know, good enough, just ignore those sour grapes .... uncle here also not paiseh young girl like you so much better than me ...

btw, 2011 is crucial year, so dont forget what is more important ... you will only be in P6 one year, but you hv many many years to take photos ... :bsmilie:

You can learn a lot from photography, not just photography itself. From what you have written here, I think you have already started gaining some valuable lessons.

As for these PMs, just remember that you answer only to yourself. People can say X, Y, Z about you, but if you can look at yourself in the mirror everyday, that's what matters - of course this is with the caveat that you don't end up cheating yourself as well.

For the record, Manita shoots all these pictures herself and she possesses sufficient knowledge of PP to do what she has done here. The people who have wasted their time sending such boh liao PMs should put their time to better use, such as actually bothering to try out these things and realise that it is easier than it looks, if you have the passion.

Agree with soulFLY on this one. very well done, and amongst the more original shots from your collection. Considering your age, I understand you might not have absolute control over where you take the photos, and some locations might be a little cliche, but that should not stop you from widening your perspective and spot the rarely seen. End of the day, it's your ability to do what others can't that's gonna differentiate you. Work hard little one, your future is bright!
