Looks like you were somewhere close to T.Pagar MRT, but can't really figure out which building... anyway it's ok if you cannot divulge
You were really high up though... look how short the Pinnacle @ Duxton looks :bigeyes:

Hi uncle Kevin, how are you and thanks for visiting. Glad you like it... This shot was taken from the floating pontoon and is quite difficult to do long exposure because is moving. So I cheat a bit by making higher ISO to get a slightly faster shutter speed. Otherwise it may come out too blur.... Try my best...
I would not call it cheating because there are no rules per se which you must follow
You chose the settings which you thought would get you the result you want. That's the important thing.
Did you sneak over the barrier or something?
I thought it was access-limited? Or maybe now busy with NDP prep?

Hi uncle Kevin, there are two pontoon there.. and there is one you can go anytime and no barrier. Is big and quite a lot of people can go on it to shoot.. but is moving and must be careful also...
OK, I have to go school now.. for my math and science...starts at 11am.. bye..

nice shot, your composition created an effect of 3D to the image.
Well balance with the Customs House and MBS and both building actually created leading line too but too bad the leading line of the building lead to a dull sky( backgound ) it will be a perfect City-scrape pic with a more impacting sky contrast and colors.
Overall, your pic never fail to WoW me =D

Oh that floor light in the right frame... could have easily clone it away.. and I think it does not really interfere with the whole picture... anyway thanks for pointing it out to me and will take note.
