Memory Cards from Ebay

Anyone knows whether it is worth the trouble or the savings to buy CF cards or SDHC cards on Ebay? One can save ten to twenty percent when compared to buying in S'pore.

I ask this as there was a problem with fakes some years back.

Has anyone bought memory cards from Ebay lately?

i don't think it's worth the risk.. just spend a few dollars more and get from Sim Lim. If you want cheap, get from Best Bargain...

just got the 32GB sandisk extreme pro $129 from Orient Photo. SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC and SDXC UHS-I Memory Cards by SanDisk
they say IT show price..
i was quoted $142 at SLRR. heng arh...no buy...haha...it goes to show..never buy camera and accessories together..they sure whack u somewhere one.
at $129sgd...i don't really think u can save much...unless u can find $89sgd in ebay including shipping...otherwise not really worth the trouble

Never buy them from eBay, too risky to waste your money for a fake one.

eBay pricing still much higher than amazon & adorama.com, www.bhphotovideo.com

Normally I would buy from amazon.com, inside still can find some from eBay seller.

Risk is depend you buy from no star & no feedback as higher point seller.

Buy from mega store like amazon once your order has something issue and they can refund your payment via credit card.

I gave Amazon a look, and found that they are selling SDHC cards at good price ranges.

I ordered a Sandisk 32GB SDHC card, Class 10, 45MB/s for USD31.95 with no shipping charge (inclusive of international addresses); but it takes 10 to 18 days to ship. No problem if you are in no hurry.

SDHC cards are cheaper than CF cards, feature for feature. So it makes good money sense to use SDHC with our D800; unless I am missing something.

Yes I agree with sim lim sq. best bargain, price on sandisk really bargain.

If you would like to purchase from amazon can be compare the Lexar brand, that is more good deal in local retail price.

That's from the market place or Amazon itself? Be careful with dealers on the market place, they are as trustworthy as eBay. Lots of them are selling fakes.

Won't be the fake, most of them is control under PayPal secure, once got any issue from seller.
On the account will be lock and money back guaranty by PayPal company

Just recently from my case, I was didn't notice my US account has been changed address.
So my ordered and delivery still sent to the old address and check from amazon, they refund my money back.

EBay only good for some vintage difficult to get stuff or old and good prime lenses. Memory cards easily available in sg and also overseas buy need shipping some more.

Yeah sd cards really cheap, less than half price of CF. we are lucky to have a shop like Best Bargain here locally.

Ya I agree with Best Bargain selling price an just like buy from eBay or online mega store.
