What do you mean first come gets to reserve shooting position? Was there a lot of photographer there? I mean, I thought there are quite urban and usually not so many people![]()

Crown drive, from Queenstown towards Wanaka. I read about this, wanted to find it, but somehow did not see it. Too far ahead to trace back by then. This tree is a famous landmark.

All my thoughts and wishes to the Kiwis. Saw some of the painful photos of the wreckage in Christchurch, and me and my wife still remembered strolling some of those streets, historical buildings, visiting the shops .. This earthquake sure will not deter me from visiting again nxt time

Just saw your tread, love it, i will be heading to south island for 12 days in 2 weeks time. Book my heli hike at Franz Josef and Earth and Sky stargaze at Tekapo. be staying 2 nights there. Hope to capture good shots as well.
2 nights at Tekapo is fantastic, you can get some really pretty star shots there. Also, the 2 days will serve as good buffer for bad cloudy weathers during the Earth and Sky star gazing trip atop Mt John.

Actually just plan to relax and idle away from the busy stressful time in Singapore and enjoy the moment with the lake, mountains and stars as well capturing good images, therefore 2 days.
Do you see any farms or sheep herds around that area? since spring time is where baby lambs appears
I went to the Glenstrae farm 4 wheel ride near Christchurch and saw them loading their little lambs up a big blue truck, along with the older sheeps in another compartment. I tried catching them in the farm but hard to catch them

I like this shot the best, such a calming effect that needs a motivating caption to top it off.
