A panorama of trees in a forest, we took a short break on one of the smaller trails along Milford drive. Taken stitched with slightly longer exposure to get abit more motion blur of the swaying branches. retrospectively, would love to do it even longer, but time can be such a precious commodity sometimes..

brilliantly planned. stunning results.

Milford Sound. A really quick snap as we were walking back to the carpark on foot after our Milford Boat Cruise. Mitre Peak at the background

As per #39 as well, i am curious.. Your wife and you kinda bashed through the vegetation?

I mean, from the photos, seems like you are kinda going near the water (#39). A bit like swampy swampy leh.

A view from within the Church of Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo. Apparently they used to stop tourists from entering the church to take pictures, but somehow the last time we went, the lady at the entrance embraced us all with open arms and smiles ( maybe it was the two bus loads of tourists that came along ) Shot was taken standing handholding, squeezing admist a bunch of tourist.

Can park by the side of the road, there is a clearing beside the church for parking.
In spring, the Lupins will be in bloom, and will make a nice and sunny picnic spot by the lake.

By a phone booth in Octagon, Dunedin.
Great place to eat at, and probably the more "happening" area ard Dunedin. The Velvet burger was absolutely fantastic. The Jap restaurants do not tend to open till late, so make sure to grab ur dinner a little earlier. Pubs, youngsters, the usual mix.

thanks ryan for sharing.

this shot reminds me of seeing the milky way in a pitch dark night off east coast of malaysia on a small island...

I guess we could see this from almost anywhere before electricity and bulbs were created, now that we have the convenience of modern life, we forget to look up... or even when we do, we don't see the sky like they use to be anymore, true in cities.

Yes. So many stars until i see until blur!

That was what i thought when i went up the observatory. WOW!

Here is a closer take with the 24mm on the equatorial mount at a lower ISO setting
