May Outing Photo Journey

What do you think we did the whole afternoon?

Some of us had too much of Tiger and Heineken, ended up like this:

K7FW9718_s.jpg

Oh man!:bsmilie:Ben you make my day.

these are some that i think they are "not bad" Just a question, my colors of the sky always seem to be dull and bland compared to other photos that was posted which are more vibrant. Were there any post processing done? Or are there any settings that i can play around with to improve on the colors??

All advices will be deeply appreciated ! Thanks in advance !

The earths atmosphere has the effect of scattering sunlight, that is why our sky looks blue and not black like on the moon (since the moon has no atmosphere). During a very bright day, this scattered light will reduce the clearness of the sky and lower the overall contrast of a scene.

A side effect is that scattered light also becomes polarized. If you use a circular polariser filter on your lens, which can be adjusted to block out polarized light, you can darken the sky, make it clearer and increase the contrast in a scene.

No polariser filter - somewhat dull and hazy

With polarizer filter - bright and contrasty!

It was indeed a extremely hot day yesterday. Did not shoot much as I felt I was melting. Spent a good part chatting with VanGogh53 in the shade. Thus, my little contributions:

#1 Pentaxian Imposter (Originally, thought he was one of us)

No lah!
Just killing time. Did not tell my visa officer we had so much "green" in the afternoon.

I give it to you; to wait till night for this shot! And indeed, it is a beautiful piece of art. Keep this enthusiasm up! It is really hot with all the concrete reflecting nothing but heat and more heat! Where's all the "greens"?

Well, here's some of the green.
