If your A40 allows you to screw it a plate at the bottom, then you can get a cheap L flash bracket from CP. Hurry, I want to place the order with the manufacturer tomorrow.

Nikon SB24 is a TTL flash and I believe it is out of production. The Suntax flash being MO'ed is a slave flash.

SB24
Pros:
-More accurate flash exposure - it reads the light reflecting from the subject thru the lens (TTL) and cuts off when it thinks its bright enough. This slave reads the light using its own sensor.
-Save camera battery by not requiring on board flash trigger
-No slave mode(?)

Cons:
Can't work with camera with no hot shoe. :bsmilie: Its like all the money in the world not being able to help u if you're stuck on a deserted island.

If your camera can take flash with hot shoe, by all means do it! This flash is not intended for u! Unless of course u decide to have multiple flashes :devil: .

which flash does "this flash is not inteded for u!" the one u recommended or the SB24?

I'm lost.. is there somewhere i can read about slave, auto, ttl, gn, zoom etc etc for flash? totally clueless.

The rest, if you are still considering then please indicate your interest. Although request to increase no of order should be accepted, its not nice to keep changing the quantity. And troublesome -> maybe take longer to make!

No worries! If it's not ready when I'm back in December, I'll be in Singapore again at the end of Jan for another 2-3 weeks.

As for the front page news, what's the good & bad news? I don't really know much about the details of the flash, so if there's changes to it I wouldn't know. ;p

I don't think so.

With regards to the diffuser, they dropped it cos their current cheapo made in malayasia cannot fit. Thus, I asked for price reduction. :bsmilie:

I will see if they have other cheap ones that can fit.
