Batteries? From what I've known, the D70 Battery lasts a long time, so unless you're shooting for a long period, they should last you easy. 1500 shots that what I heard. hurhur

Buy her something more expensive than D70 or wait till your birthday then bring it out. A better way to do damage control.

2. Show her some photos taken with your G5
3. Say that the camera does NOT do her beauty justice
4. Suprise her with a present of a D70 to capture the inner beauty and the external glory.
