Probably that's what Fergie wanted....as 3rd striker.....remember the on loan Larson? Next year Rooney should still be the anchor man with tactically switching pairing with Berba as withdrawal striker....then we have the pairing of Macheda and Webber for cup competition

The only problem is to manage the ego of RVN...don't forget he was still one of the record scorer few years back...so he won't settle for substitution just like Tevez

Actually MU still have Manucho on loan to somewhere....I find he did not get the chances that he needed....or perhaps for successful team like MU....u simply have no chance if you cannot fly off straight....look at Toksic...or even Nani and Anderson.....all are not automatic selection

Btw what is you guys comment on the new jersey? Looks like captain america body suite to me, a bit strange...very unsoccer feel

It is suppose to be a combination of old n new?

I prefer VDS white one much nicer!:bsmilie:

Hm...how about Rudd Van Nisterooy make a U turn? Sparkie done that previously...and with Ronaldo gone....there is no more dressing room conflick

Dun think Fergie will want him anymore. They had a falling out while Sparky wasn't sold by Fergie. Fergie bought him back.

the new jersey looks like AFL jerseys from yester-year.

Ya lol but who was it who said it look like V for Victory? Park right? :bsmilie:

Bear with it, as this is AIG's last season with Man Utd. Next season will be a new design with new sponsor AON.

i think the football transfer market is very sad , RM wants the best player and every player want to go RM ,
sick of this kinda of cycle , why is everyone so attracted to RM even though they fxxk up for the past few seasons in UCL .. and players still dying to go there
and every1 seems to attracted to Liverpool , man utd always doesn't seems to attract good(established) players , man u will have a hard time nxt season

everybody wants to go to Real Madrid because it has tradition and history that would make any team envious.

it is also located in somewhere which is perpetually baked in sun (or at least is relatively warmer) and doesn't have crummy weather like places such as Greater Manchester, or in Liverpool.

also, did I forget to mention that they have wallets so deep that the players would have earned enough to buy over a small African nation and name it after themselves?

these are just some of the pull factors for playing at Real Madrid.

Another reason is RM's history of nine European Cups! They wanted to be in history for the no.10!

Reds to sign Valencia today, our first signing?
Papers: Antonio on his way

Ruud van Nistelrooy could make a surprise return to English football with Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce expressed an interest in signing the Real Madrid striker.

actually if RM is so damm rich, why dun they go buy Messi - then they have the 3 best players in the world ......lol...

just because you're rich doesn't mean that the player would want to go to your club.

case in point, Manchester City and Kaka during the January transfer window.

Valencia sealed Man Utd deal.

More to come from the sale proceeds of CR.

CR officially moves to RM for a world record transfer fee of £80m.

He is followed on by the latest news in - Karim Benzema of Lyon for a reported minimum 35m euros.

It seems like RM has bottomless pit bank to finance all these mega deals.

FYI, the £80m is a one-off fee banked into our Red Devils treasury.

All the more supports the rumour that the deal was concluded one year ago... Real Madrid took the whole of last year to save money and buy the top of the line DSLR... err... I mean player. ;)

bye bye Karim Benzema.

nice to know that Man Utd wanted you, and I hope you get the playing time you hope to get at Real.

I know this sounds sour and probably childish, but has anybody told Real Madrid that soccer is a game with 11 men on the pitch, and 7 on the bench at most? at the rate they are going, they may make soccer a 20 men on the pitch game instead.

I'd think that even without CR, and Tevez, Man U can still function well enough to challenge the top 4, now with e pacy Valencia into the squad.

Owen, if fit, will provide a more than decent midfield cover.
Defence wise, we are also decent, although the left back can be a suspect @ times.
Attack wise, I think Rooney and Berba should work. Give Berba some credit for his control of e ball and his passes, they are quite good actually. Look at his assists.

The only worry is the aging of the ever reliable Giggsy. Sighhh...

So.... continue our support!!!!
