Manchester United X - The Legacy continues: 4 down 2 to go!

Yeah, it's a nice deal for Man Utd. Not many will agree with me, but I think it's good-riddance, as Ronaldo's head is getting bigger. The way he throws tantrums on the sideline when he was subsituted in the Manchester City game is disgusting and childish. It's a miracle Fergie didn't throw a shoe at him. :(

Real Madrid has been taking players whom Man Utd have groomed and developed.... I wonder if they have ever groom and developed their own - maybe Raul and Casillas, not sure as I don't follow the La Liga as closely. Anyway, good for Ronaldo's pocket, he can go crash another expensive car now... :sticktong

Kaka and Ronaldo in one team, if they don't win any silverware next season, we'll have something to talk about again :D

I've always thought it was time for him to go. as much as he is incredibly talented, it was clear that his ego wasn't being stroked enough by Manchester United and their fans. did anybody see the look on his face when Man Utd lost to Barcelona? it really had that "mummy he took my toy away and I want it back NOW!" look. gee.

I just hope that with the money received from the potential transfer, that Fergie spends it wisely. I don't want to see 30 million pound flops any more, although Actim may suggest that he was rather effective in his supposedly bad season.

Hell yeah 80m pounds is a lot of money.

It'll almost make me sell my mother... ;p (and for another 20m, who knows...)

Jokes aside, I have this suspicion that he'll probably buang at RM.

As one member noted, RM will always make a lot of noise when they announced a world-record deal.. but this time, it's surprisingly muted. I suspect that %&^!? Perz with his "toxic" cash (dunno how he'll pay back... hope RM shares crash one day) is quietly planning another coup to bring another player in....

CR unlikely to buang.. as he's talented. Just hope his $$-conscious head implode. Also, hope Kaka & CR crash and 'langa' each other often going after the same ball & both kenna boo-off!

Too many superstars with big egos will flop and disharmony will start.

Let's see how RM handle this. But I reckon RM will have one of the fastest flanks in club football in the new season with Robben and Ronaldo now set to earn his move.

No la, dun think CR will flop. I wish him well and i'm sure many Utd fans will but whether RM will buang or not I can't say cos their defence is still like tofu.

I really think its a good time and deal to sell CR cos i think he isn't as effective as last season already. I think EPL defenders already wise up to his tricks and seldom see him dribble pass players.

I really hope Fergie goes for Ribery but rumour is that Fergie find him a bit old and too ex. I think he is a ready made world class winger.

BM says we need at least pay 50million pounds they then will release Franck Ribery!

Today's paper says that CR goes to RM to fufil his father's dream and he say he may want to come back later....but i dun think Man Utd will be buying him back!

We are closing in on Antonio Valencia. 17million pounds.

Tevez has decided to leave!

hypothetical situation

if Ribery comes.
and Tevez stays

Man Utd will have the world's ugliest strike force with Rooney, Ribery and Tevez.

lol CR thinks SAF will allow Man U to be a place where players come and go as they wish.

soccernet says....

MU paying 45M for Valencia's David Villa!

Now, that striker, i dun mind..... :-)

we just blardy need to convert the opportunities into GOALS....which i'm sorry to say that berba hasn't seem to be able to prove that yet.....hopefully next season he gets into the real pace...

Somebody should change that embarrassing and outdated title.

Somebody should change that embarrassing and outdated title.

We can't change thread title leh. I think only mods can but to trouble them over such matters is a little too over the top? Well after 1000 posts will have a new thread, so its only temperory.

Manchester United are preparing to sign Gremio starlet Douglas Costa as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona have all made offers for France playmaker Franck Ribery.

Walan...If this is true then MU is like half Brazil team now :) Can play Samba soccer soon

Sergio Asenjo another youngster to consider?

I think we also need a new GK who can fit in when VDS is not around.
