Fantastic Rashford, he is the difference in our winning, not Martial, Rooney, Lingrad, Dempsey etc. Its a good thing. However, dont get carry away thinking Rashford will score in every game from now onwards. Give him time to link up with others. So far, he is loner, fit and running to places on his own at the right place and time to score. We need youngster like that, willing to take chances and keep improvising his technique.

With Rooney and Martial fit again, will LVG still play Rashford....I doubt so. Fellaini is a goner now with Rashford as an option as out-to-out striker, fast pace and dare to run. I like Rashford. When you look at the 2nd half of the game, Arsenal slackened for whatever reason, no idea why they played like that after knowing still down 1 goal. Wasted so much time and very lethargic and slow passing in midfield. Wenger team became sloppy, very surprise where they were ending so well in the first half. There is a problem. When we scored the 3rd goal, all is lost for Arsenal. Good for us. We maintained our composure and no silly mistakes, brought us 3 vital points against formidable opponents. Well done MU.

998 goals from 456 at Old Trafford its time to create a new milestone lads ... 2 more goals to be the first team to score 1000 goals at home ...

Hosting Watford later at 4am ...

Most impt is still 3 points ...

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 WATFORD 0

A late free-kick from Juan Mata gave Manchester United an important victory over Watford on Wednesday night.

The midfielder, named captain ahead of the game in the absence of Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Chris Smalling, stepped up to curl home a delightful effort on 83 minutes to settle a hard-fought contest at Old Trafford.

Who can see the crystal ball whats going to happen next. With Man City, Arsenal, Spurs all lost their consecutive games in recent weeks, we can ride our comeback trail and make ourselves proud to be in the TOP 4 this season. Keep it up MU, 1-0 is a good enough win for us.

Smalling back to staring 11
Go for 3 points !!!

GOAL West Brom 1-0 Man Utd (66 mins). Salomon Rondon swivels and shoots into the corner after collecting Sebastien Pocognoli cross

This kind of scoreline no longer surprise me....

Regardless of any footballer that has not received any red card before in his career, it did not matter, the 2 yellow cards that were given to Mata's ignorance was justified, dont blame the referee for doing his job. If the referee are to look at 22 players' history before each game, he would be so tasked to remember all these details. To err is human, but Mata having known that he was just booked earlier, should have known better after 500 games in his career for committing a rash act. However, having said that, how about the whole team effort to come back to equalise and win the game, there was another 69 minutes to go. Its very disappointing to see there was not any leader in the team 2nd half to push for it. The team passing was lousy with no commitment there after. Finishing was not up to mark. Who did LVG bring in? A striker, Fellaini to try to salvage the game, but no, he did not....end of our game.

We need those Robson , Cantona or Keane type captain to push the team...

European Mickey Mouse Cup against Liverpool tonight.

Think I'll just sleep and check the score in the morning.

Will still wake up for the game. Good if we beat Liverpool by 1 goal will do. Keep out fingers cross. Liverpool like us not really on form, got to see start of game how will it end. If MU play lousy and we are 2 goals to 0 down, then I shall go and sleep.

You prediction is correct.. :(

I did not sleep well. Its so disappointing seeing how we play. Where is our fighting spirit and team work, the MU legacy of not giving up each time? Some of our players may have blamed Mata for being sent off in West Brom game and got too much to work. But come on, against Liverpool, we lost miserably. It is fortunate we are not 5 goals down with DE GEA excellent saves. It will be miraculous come next Thursday to beat Liverpool with 3-0 scoreline. What more excuses can LVG come up with. His strategies and philosophy are bringing us down. The only way now is for us to do what LVG said win all remaining games in EPL to qualify for UCL next season, Europa route IMO is 75 percent gone. Question: What makes him think that we can win all 9 remaining matches in a row. Seriously looking at how we are playing now.

Next season no eye to see ...unless JM takes over ...if not ...

One thing is confirmed, LVG will need to go whether how Mu perform for the next 9 games. Not confirm yet if JM will take over. Even Benitez returned to head and tried to savage New Castle's stay in EPL, very surprise he took the job. Who knows if New Castle did not manage to stay in EPL, Benitez activate his clause and may have option to head the Championship Team promoted to EPL. Alternatively, he may be another candidate for us instead of JM. We definitely need a manager who has experience winning UCL and trophies (LVG not the right man) in order to challenge the mights of Pep G, Klopp Wenger Ranieri etc...LVG just brought us another low, another lousy unwanted record of our loss to West Brom!
