Thanks! Well nobody says can't transfer ... free transfer anyone? ;p

Its Matchday! Home to Swansea City ... 3points ...... seems rather a distance ...

Especially when LVG had lost 3 times to Swansea.....

Starting XI
De Gea, Young, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Herrera, Martial, Rooney.

Subs
Romero, Darmian, McNair, Carrick, Pereira, Fellaini, Memphis.

Just Now
47' - GOAL! Young's cross was headed home powerfully by Martial and he scores!

Spoke too soon!

70' - Goal. mufc 1 Swansea 1. Sigurdsson heads in from Barrow's cross to get the visitors level.

77' - GOAL! Manchester United 2-1 Swansea City (Rooney)
Martial powered through and cut the ball back for Rooney, who showed great awareness to score with a clever flick.

A winning start for the new year!

Watch the post match conference by LVG.. He said that from his perspective 1st half was much better.. 2nd half not good because it was risky football..

Confusing.. He wants the team to have fast, creative footballers.. Yet he wants to control these footballers to play possession football.. Not easy..

Maybe that's why Di Maria couldn't get his philosophy.. Soon Depay also..

Nice goal from Rooney.. Hope he continues his linkup play with Martial which was nice to see..

Should have been a draw if not for big Dave.. This guy is really good and his concentration level is damn high..

It's match day!
FA Cup 3rd round home to Sheffield Utd 1.30am.
Need to build on the win from the last game!

If Rooney keeps on scoring, we will win comfortably. However, FA Cup tie always depends on the match day form and metal strongness of the players. We are pretty good in confidence, shall keep winning at home, that's booster going into premier leagues games forward. MU GO GO GO.

MUFC XI to face SUFC: De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson, Schweinsteiger, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Martial, Rooney

subs: Romero, McNair, Varela, Lingard, Pereira, Memphis, Keane.

Louis van Gaal makes three changes to his side, bringing in Darmian, Borthwick-Jackson and Fellaini for Young, Jones and Schneiderlin.

Late penalty by Rooney put us through the next round ...
And again we fail to score in normal outfield play!

When is the MU Board going to see and admit openly that we simply cannot score any goals. This lack of goals cannot be resolved by LVG in his philosophy style of play. There is something very deeply flawed in our inability to score....Even if we send in all our available fit strikers, we still cannot find a way to score. Just sad to see. Yah winning by penalty is all matters, but how lucky can we get everytime. This morning game has a draw all written over it before the penalty, a mistake by the opponent player, bottom line we cannot score, sign, what to do? LVG is not leaving voluntarily, Rooney cannot score, Martial fails to score, Demphey fails to score.. Mata fails to send the passing through ball, players not running into position to score, so then what?

2 nil up and now we are 2-2 against Newcastle.. Newcastle is third from bottom and having problems scoring..

Well done LVG..
