Agreed on a fee of £63m
we still need someone to bring the ball in from midfield. Right now, the play is flat flat flat. Sideway and backward passing?
we had more possession but the attack from defense up just lack bite.
cleverly, fletcher and young can seriously be considered sold.
If LVG is banging on these players to bring his new philosophy to life, he needs to start the fire in these players fast. Right now, there simply is no fire.

No fire is just about right. A properly motivated lesser team will beat a team like manutd anytime.

another disappointing performance..
same shitty performance as last year but difference response from United fans so far..
most of us see LVG as a savior.. maybe because of the way he approach the media.. so we have been blaming the players and the Glazers instead of LVG..
but watching the games so far i realised that LVG is always rooted to the seat.. so far i have not seen him moving to the touchline to watch or to even "instruct" the players.. even Giggs is always seated as compared to when he was the caretaker manager.. i find it abit strange cause in the past and in the WC LVG is not always seated.. instead he is quite active..
i wonder if he has anything up his sleeves.. to test the patience of the fans/ the board?.. so that the board will be pressured to buy players?..

Looks like Louis van Gaal already briefed the Glazers and Ed Woodward that it's going to take some time to rebuild the team.

He'd have a longer leash than Moyes but definitely no more than one and one third seasons.

This defeat really shows our weakness.. No control on midfield and defence is in shambles.. Although many are young players but this 3-5-2 system requires 2 very good midfielders and 2 wing backs.. We have none of those players and the players were are linked to (except Vidal) also does not specialise in these roles..
With Di Maria coming in, I think LVG will be changing formation this Saturday against Burnley..

Haha this is really awful. Moyes may have been sacked a bit too early, as some may say after this defeat. But the truth is that he didnt have the track record for the club and its supporters to trust in to pull through.
