Legends ready for battle
Manchester United's Legends are preparing to face their Real Madrid counterparts on Sunday at Old Trafford.
The Red Heart United event features a concert headlined by JLS and a number of other family-based activities with the ticket-office windows open for sales and collections all day. 55,600 tickets have already been sold.
United trail 3-2 from the first game at the Bernabeu last year with goalscorers Lee Sharpe and Teddy Sheringham again both on show. Coach Bryan Robson has been deprived of the services of Dion Dublin after he picked up a collarbone injury and Jesper Blomqvist has also been forced to withdraw.
Paul Scholes is likely to be a central figure and he will come up against Zinedine Zidane, Steve McManaman and Luis Figo in midfield. However, the visitors will be without Guti.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is scheduled to appear for both teams after representing the two clubs with great distinction.
