Its so disappointing when you got 35 mins to go and cannot score an equaliser. Some form of Plan B must be thought of by AF going forward. Otherwise, if we cannot score, we must well kiss goodbye to our 20th title target. If other clubs can have a stronger defense this season, why can't we have one ourselves, a commanding and solid backline. Puzzle me!!! Injuries, every clubs have. No excuse Man Utd First Team, they really need to beef up their commitment levels, from Goalkeeper to backline, centre back, midfield, wingers and forwards. We simply cannot afford to carry on like that. 2 losses already.

In all fairness....spurs came to OT to attack and they were rewarded.....man u cannot do much given spurs are better in almost every dept.....this is something Fergie should bear in mind in transfer market....other than RVP.....the two recruits from Fulham can battered anyone from mu on the field.....I always said Carrick is not good enough but Fergie seems to favor him like he is his god son......Giggs really done nothing other than taking up the valuable first team slot and Ferdinand and evra is approaching sun set of their career.....they should not in the team week in week out......nani should be sold in January while he still worth something.....no point keeping someone who can't give u 100%....he is drifting further and further from his compatriot Ronaldo.....when Ronnie play....we always sees the desire to win...to score and to get pass everyone including the goal keeper......but there is no one equivalent on the OT field right now....

CFR Cluj 1
Kapetanos (14)
Man United 2
van Persie (29, 49)

2 goals from Van Persie to come back from a goal down at this morning CL.

Report

RVP is excellent value for money.

Yes....compare the price of Torres....Tevez or even Roonie and Kagawa :)

Arsenal always sucks thumb.....their best players always sold on the cheap :)

CL is different for MU as compared to Premiere League. It would be tough to crack Newcastle tom at their ground. However, having say that, I think MU should be able scrap through at least with a goal difference win.

i suppose you mean "attack is the best form of defence?" then we should expect a goal fest.... :)

better not be too reliant on one player....quite a risky proposition :)

FT

Newcastle 0 - 3 Man Utd :devil::devil:

Explosive start in the first half which saw Man Utd raced to a 2-0 lead thru goals from Evans and Evra. the third goal was in the 2nd half thru a stunning goal from Cleverley... Newcastle had the ball in the net... but was not given by the referee.. but they didnt make much noise abt it..:)

Good performance by Man Utd...but De Gea handling of crosses was absolutely awful and at time shocking..:o

Agree good performance especially defense for the clean sheet given Newcastle is a very offensive minded site.....good to see the source of goal came from defense and mid field.....I like when Whelback and Cleverly play together.....they will cheong and cheong non stop at opponent half and give them lots of headaches :)

From last night's game it should be quite clear that we were never a 1 man team! ;p

Man Utd 4
- 2 Stoke City :devil::devil::devil:

Rooney with 3 goals...2 for Man Utd and free 1 for Stoke....:)
RVP and Welbeck were the other scorers.. Man Utd only woke up after Stoke had taken the lead... :confused:
Btw, 3 pts was earned and next will be Champion League football in the midweek before the trip to Chelsea next weekend.

Yeah... hard earn 3pts! Challenging week ahead! Hope to see more or the Dynamic Duo in action!

Wah lau.... we are really leaking goals!! Opponents always score first before we wake up and catch up.... really need to buck up man!! :(

Ya, definitely a let-off game for us. It clearly showed that MU defense got lots of problems as much as AF wants to deny it and put up a good explanation and support for it. AF really needs to find an answer to the defense woes, acquiring good defense players should be seriously considered. Letting in goals will always be demoralising for the whole team during every game. So the whole team should be accounted for such mistakes. I hope this defense loopholes are covered asap before it haunts us again.

Our defense is really like a cheese hole...:confused: Its a terrible habit we seem to be developing, always make slow start...:(

It is going to be a highly tensed match when Man Utd played against Chelsea this Sunday & the following week against Arsenal because Man Utd can't afford to let in too many goals...:sweat:
