Congrat to Man Utd last night match !!!

Wayne Rooney has agreed a new five-year contract to stay at Manchester United until at least June 2015.

“I’m signing a new deal in the absolute belief that the management, coaching staff, board and owners are totally committed to making sure United maintains its proud winning history – which is the reason I joined the Club in the first place.

And Mourinho got it right afterall saying Rooney will stay!

Actually Rooney got a very good agent. After the statement from Rooney's camp yesterday questioning Man United's ambition, the road blocks in the contract negotiation suddenly get cleared miraculously. I bet it is not about a sudden change in Man united's ambition but the demand in weekly salary from Rooney and other demands suddenly get accepted. I bet he is getting the weekly £200,000 that he was asking in the new contract negotiation.

I'm sure its a ploy to get more money. But I dunno i'm happy or sad that he is staying. Him staying means the other young strikers will get less chance. Machada, Hernandez, Welbeck (On loan) etc will have to wait.

Contracts mean little in this era

like that also can for rooney.......................... yeah the way he asking demands very smart, now the man united fans will not hunt him........, but as sir alex getting old and many players are old retired already, must play young players more..... else they no chance to gain experience to fill the gap...

Hmm... Man Utd not playing tonight... so bored.

At the other end of the table, our traditional rival is not playing tonight as well. Imagine if West Ham United win or draw with Newcastle, that would put Liverpool at the bottom of the table (for 24 hours at least)! Now that's something I would like to go into their thread and mock about on a bored Saturday night ;p

All thanks to our new wonder boy Hernandaz!

Thats why I dunno if Rooney stay will really be a good thing. He stays, Hernandaz and the rest of the strikers will get less chance, esp Macheda. Anyway, its a good win and glad that he scored both goals. At least, he can give Fergie some other options.

I was thinking finally Macheda will get his chance if Rooney were to leave! Think Fergie might just play him in cup games!

Match report

I guess you didn't watch the match...

Brown was ok playing right back.. Evans was the one who looks quite nervous and giving away freekicks unnecessary. When Neville replace Fabio, Evans move to left back and Brown and Smalling played in the centre with Gary Neville playing on right back and sad to say, it is a bad substitute for he was easily outpaced by the opponent.. I think his time is almost up...

Macheda was disappointing too, seems to have lost his touch ...

On the bright side, Bebe is showing great potential, strong, fast and skillful... only thing is he need to build up his stamina :)
