Probably they prefer 0-0 now .... :bsmilie:

Would love to see  go to Stamford Bridge and claim the title.

Go  GOOOOOOOALLLLLLLL!!!

Thank you Newcastle United...

Thank you Nicky Butt, thank you NewCastle United.

I can smell the silverware & hear it calling out to us.

0-0 draw or 1-0 to man u will be a good result for us this tues.
we are without our better defenders :(

Wah lao I missed all the games this weekend! Very sad man, the draw at home and Rio injured again! Hiaz.....dunno what kind of defence we have against Milan. :(

But haha Chelsea drew! :bsmilie: Nevertheless, a draw at old trafford is :nono: ! We ain't a defensive team!

Actually its going to be tough for us..with 3 away games out of 4 as compared to 3 home games out of 4 for Chelsea..based on stats..its not going to be good for us...

The difference between 2 teams is also the strength in depth of chelsea subst ($$)..look at the chelsea bench for the last few matches..and they are pretty impressive and will be able to step up and change the match..but for manutd..they dont really have that..not made easier with the loss of vidic and neville who has impacted the defensive unit very very much..

Actually at the end of the day..SAF will also have to blame himself for not bringing in a quality striker and over-believing that Saha would be sufficient..If Ronaldo had not performed the way he did this season and say only contribute as much as the last season..(This season in EPL he has 16 goals and 14 assists!), Man Utd would not even be at where they are now..

Man Utd dun have the $$$ of Chelsea leh and Chelsea's entire back 4 injured, I'm very sure they will suffer much worst than Man Utd. Just a Terry injured, they like wanna die liao and Mourinho have to make noise for a new defender back in Jan.

Can u imagine Terry, Carvalho, Cole, Ferreira and a striker injured? Without their main striker Drogba, they will be fghting with Liverpool for a CL spot! :bsmilie:

basket! :bsmilie:

Wow, we made up almost the entire team for the PFA Premier League Team of the Year 2007. Not only did Ronaldo won two awards, he also won the Portuguese Sportsman of the Year Award edging out Jose Moan-rinho. Yay!!!! Three thumbs up for Ronaldo:thumbsup:

sometimes i'm just wondering y SAF said byebye to nicky butt......

he's one of the better holding/defending midfielders........

i'm sure he can see how BIG the lobang is at that spot..nobody to crush the rushing midfielders of other teams!

when the hell is OH coming over? i really like to see that guy become a

I think Owen Hargreaves is very likely to be the next red devil. Wonder who will join him. Nani? I would like to see Berbatov now that Saha is becoming a liability with him being persistently injured.

He got no choice at that time. Nicky was getting old and his best player performance in WC 02 merit him a 1st team starting place in the squad but there is the matter of displacing Roy Keane. He spent most of 2003 as a sub and in 04, he cannot take it anymore and ask for a transfer. Little did he know that Keane will leave in 05/06.

C. Ronaldo fully deserved his awards. And its SAD to see that the entire backline that was in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year 2007 injured. Very depressing!

I think they are more like asking SAF to sign on Gerrard, Drogba n Berbatov so that man u will become TEAM of the season!:bsmilie:

Of the three, realistically, we may only be able to land Berbatov if we lure him with the promise of CL football next season. I mean it's every footballer's dream to play at the highest level and not many clubs can promise you that. If he continues to play for Spurs, the chances of him playing in CL is very remote. SAF should tempt him with that. I saw him playing for Spurs the other nite against the gunner. He was impressive but lack the kinda support from his midfielders which he will relish if he comes to OT.

Nicky Butt was off loaded to another team so that he will have more first team experience which is good for him n he needed it for the national team! And that time the midfield is overly crowded n leaving him on the bench will not do him good n will affect his national duty!

Mourinho rails against United penalty decisions:

Jose Mourinho claimed there is one rule for Chelsea and another for Manchester United on penalty decisions after watching his side miss the chance to close the title race gap to one point against Newcastle.

Mourinho vented his frustration after referee Mark Halsey had turned down two Chelsea penalty claims in the goalless draw at St James' Park.

The Chelsea manager was already aggrieved that United had escaped defeat against Middlesbrough 24 hours earlier when referee Peter Walton ignored strong claims for a penalty when South Korean striker Lee Dong-Gook was felled by John O'Shea in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Had all three decisions gone Chelsea's way Mourinho's side could potentially be level with United instead of being three points adrift.

'One rule is not to allow penalties against Man United and another says none in favour of Chelsea,' he told Prem Plus. 'You are speaking about big decisions which affect points.

'We can speak about the game we saw or the game that could be if Chelsea is winning 1-0 (had they been awarded an early penalty at St James' Park).'

Referring to the Lee Dong-Gook incident at Old Trafford, he added: 'They cannot lose. Yesterday it was a penalty in the last minute and they are forbidden to lose.'

Mourinho also reiterated his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge next season and claimed that chief executive Peter Kenyon's public backing earlier this week should mean any doubts about his future are at an end.

'I said many times in the last few months that I want to stay,' he told Prem Plus.

'They (the board) have told me they want me to stay and not leave, and end any speculation.

'I have worked with them for three years and I believe what they say.

'When they want me to stay and I want to stay that is the end of the story.

'Between us everything is clear.'

Mourinho admitted his side did not deserve to take three points from today's game.

The Blues dominated the majority of the match but failed to create clear-cut chances against a resolute Newcastle defence.

'If you ask if Chelsea deserve to win this game, I don't think so,' Mourinho added. 'Newcastle were fresher and were dangerous on the counter attack.

'They deserve to get their point.'

Despite seeing his side spurn the opportunity to move within a point of Manchester United, Mourinho claimed he was content to go into the final four games - three of which are at Stamford Bridge - still in touch at the top.

'Our target for weeks has been to finish this period with a situation where we could do it (win the title) and I would have been very happy with this situation 10 weeks ago,' he said.

'We are in a position to fight for the Premiership. One win is not a lot.'

Wah.... SUPER SORE LOSER lei.........
