probably the biggest champions league win?

Created history scoring 7 goals pass the master of defence (Italy).
In 1968 run in to final we beat Irish minnows Waterford by the same scoreline on the first stage.

Watford here we come!!!

Yes it the biggest champions league win but in the old european cup format, our biggest was a 10-0 win against Anderlecht.

But this is awesome as its Roma! 2nd in ISA and the famed Italian defence..........blown away in 30 mins! But Roma really stuck to their guns and tried to play their attacking game. :thumbsup: The 1st 5 mins where they settled immediately and have 2 shot just wide was really :sweat: And its a patched up United side. Not at full strength at all. In defence, midfield and attack, we have at least a 1st teamer out.

Really an awesome performance. Roma went to hell and got whacked by the :devil: !

Team wise, either will be fine for me but I think SAF did mention that the Alliance Arena is a difficult venue. So I reckon he prefers Milan.

But club wise, I think Man Utd will prefer to go to Germany given the recent troubles in Rome. Now its back to Italy again. :sweat:

Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer admits his club could be tempted to sell midfielder Owen Hargreaves when the transfer window opens.

Having torn Roma to shreds in the quarter-finals, United will again have to negotiate Italian opposition in the Champions League semi-finals.

AC Milan notched a comfortable 2-0 win in Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena to seal a 4-2 aggregate victory over the Germans on Wednesday night.

The Italians had first half goals from two seasoned veterans to thank for their progress, as Clarence Seedorf and Pippo Inzaghi struck after 27 and 31 minutes respectively.

With Sir Alex Ferguson watching from the stands, Dutch midfielder Seedorf opened the scoring with a fine low shot from the edge of the Bayern area after being teed up by Brazilian star Kaka.

And it was Seedorf's neat backheel shortly afterwards which freed Inzaghi - a scorer against United on two occasions for Juventus - to emphatically wrap up the tie.

Bayern pressed without reward in the second half as the Italians comfortably held onto their lead and regularly threatened to score on the break.

Hornets boss unflustered:

Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd is relaxed ahead of his side's FA Cup semi-final against United, despite watching the Reds tear Roma to shreds on Wednesday night.

The Hornets boss was among the crowd as United swept into the semi finals of the Champions League at the expense of the Italians.

However, he told Sky Sports News: "I'm actually quite relaxed about it. I was privileged to be in the crowd to watch the game. I thought they were absolutely outstanding.

"They're good, without a shadow of doubt. They were excellent. It's going to be a tough call."

Despite United's stunning return to form, Boothroyd is relying on the FA Cup's famous romance to act as a leveller at Villa Park.

"The FA Cup is all about shocks," he said. "Because of the way the game is with the money these days we tend not to get that many, but who knows maybe it's our year.

"We've got to make sure we're all ten out of ten on the day. To make sure the game is a good game and it's a game that either team can win."

"He has done it before," said Boothroyd. "He came into the first team against Manchester United and did really well.

"I know playing reserve-team football is nowhere near it but he trains with the first team every day because he is very much a part of our plans.

"It takes a certain type of mentality to be able to come in and perform like he does. It won't be a problem for him."
