duh.. the defenders were sleeping thru' out the match.. Gabby couldn't make it tonight.. Ferdinand and Brown were sleeping all the time..

Ronaldo gave away possessions.. Scholesy, Giggs and Carrick couldn't deliver.. Van der Ser made mistakes and the ref denied clear penalty where Rooney was fouled in the box..

the defender touched Rooney 's leg ... replayed see it clearly

can someone pls inform SAF that we need better midfielders who can PASS properly and also a ball winner in the center midfield? our midfield passings are horrible! :(

man utd today 1 day off , SAF and portmouth coach good friends , together with Alan curbishly

haiz i think most of the midfielders had a off day.Hardly see scholes anywhere near pompey's penalty area.Passing was horrible:cry:

I loved way Rio (Own Goal) Ferdinand scored. Even before the ball was in the net, he had already turned around and had enough time to throw a tantrum. :sweatsm: :sweatsm: :sweatsm:

Of course not, but I am rooting for them to win the Premier League this season cause I hate the likes of Chelski buying up the premiership. But I think manure are going to have a hard time with Vidic out cause his presence greatly settles the defence.

If u want to post here, use Man Utd! When I go over to Liverpool, I dun use cesspool or Liverfool! :bsmilie:

Yeah, it's an insult to call us manure when we don't call them Liver-poo or cesspool in their thread. It shows how immature some ppl can be.

well, the league title is still man u's to lose, although the pressure is building up now. there is a small glimmer of hope for chelsea. ;p

Well, I hope the players use this lost match as a wakeup call and go on to win the title. It's just like the match that we lost to West Ham. Except for the loss to the gunners, didn't they went on and performed very well? Now is the time to stay focus and go all out to dethrone Chelski. I know they have the self-belief and will to win and it's up to them to prove it to the rest of the EPL teams that they are champion materials. Go devils, go.   :)

cesspool and manure, all the same right? :bsmilie: name calling is not about maturity, it is tradition, every football fan in the UK has loads of names for each team they dislike, it is just out of plain fun, only the immature get upset. :p just be happy that we don't get a name like arse-anal. :sweatsm:

i rate vidic very highly, he may be just one person, but manure does not have enough depth in the squad to replace what he offers to the others in defence. i don't watch manure games enough to pinpoint what it is, a little like one defender complimenting the other e.g. carragher and hyypia kind of partnership. without him, see how horrible ferdinand fares.

It is better for us to lose now n wakeup just in time for the treble then lose at a later stage n no chance to wakeup!!! Think we should be able to win the EPL hmm....maybe we win becos of goal difference! Chelski they r really lucky this season winning most of their game in the last 5mins! They got the same luck we had during our treble season or rather better luck:confused:

Neber mind ... lets look forward to the next game at OT against ROMA in 2 days time!

Saha may make the bench:
Louis Saha could be among the substitutes for United's Champions League clash with Roma at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.

The French striker felt his hamstring in training on Friday and consequently missed United's 2-1 defeat at Portsmouth on Saturday tea-time.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the 28-year-old is in the running to make the bench for Tuesday's quarter-final second leg tie.

"Louis will probably be fit enough to be named on the bench," he told MUTV. "His hamstring felt a bit tight on Friday, but I think he'll be okay.

"If he comes through on Tuesday I think he and Alan Smith will figure against Watford in the FA Cup semi-final next Saturday."

Sir Alex also confirmed that Gary Neville is likely to be back for the Premiership clash against Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Tuesday week.

The Reds' skipper, who has missed United's last four matches, hobbled out of the win over Bolton last month after suffering ankle ligament damage.

Transfer Rumours: April 07

Rumours persist that United are set to renew their interest in Tottenham's Bulgarian international striker Dimitar Berbatov when the transfer window re-opens.

The red-hot forward was linked with United before signing for Spurs last summer, and the player himself claimed there was strong interest in his services from Old Trafford.

Martin Jol has voiced his intent to keep hold of Berbatov beyond the end of this season, but various tabloids continue to link United with a summer bid in the region of £19million.

Berbatov joins long term targets Owen Hargreaves and Nani on Sir Alex Ferguson's supposed shopping list, while Mikael Silvestre and Wes Brown continue to be linked with Newcastle.

Am sure he must be interested in playing CL football next season. This is one area where the top teams can offer; which is very tempting for them, something that the lower teams can't even smell. He's one good player who should come to OT.

Nothing is fair in this world. Chelsea only had Terry out but Man Utd have 4 defenders out. If that happened to Chelsea, its curtains liao.
