F**king Moan-rinho still refused to acknowledge that the best team have won the 07/07 EPL title. Probably, just like his comment about the outcome of the Liverpool vs Chelsea 2nd leg semi-final, he still think the best team (his team) lost the EPL title. But, who cares. The trophy is already confirmed on its way to trophy cabinet in OT. :bsmilie: :devil: :devil:

Trophy will be presented at OT. FA cup final is on the 19th and tell u guys frankly, I wasn't too disappointed that we lost to Milan as the CL final is on the following Wed. If we made the finals and lost to Liverpool due to the demands and strain on the squad challanging for the Treble, it will be a mega bummer!
If Man U had reached the CL final, u can be sure that the key players will be rested for games ag Chelsea and West Ham.
When Man U won the treble in 1999 they had to win the very last game of the season ag Spurs. This time they won the EPL with 2 games to spare and now can afford to rest sore limbs.
As for Liverpool the key players will go to Spain for 2 weeks of rest and massage and then to Athens.

The CL final (23rd) is only 4 days after the FA cup finals. (19th) Its a massive battle against Chelsea. If Liverpool are in the FA cup finals against Chelsea, Milan will have big big advantage. And Man Utd's squad isn't as strong as the 99 one. In the last 3 games against Everton, Milan and Man City, it was a struggle and the squad is clearly tired.
But yeah, the difficulty and daunting task of winning the Treble makes the 1999 win all the more sweeter and remarkable.
