Remember Milan is no Roma..Milan is more clinical and will seize any given chance then shut down stall early to bring the tie home..i take a score draw for this tie..the return tie should be the home team's...;)

Sure u Liverpool fans will hope to face Milan in the final. Why? Because u guys have no balls to face the Red Devils after getting beaten by us home and away easily! :bsmilie: It will be great if Man Utd can face off with Liverpool in the finals as we want to whack u guys on neutral ground too! ahahahaha :sweatsm:

Home and away! Home and away! And we're going to beat them on neutral ground too!

The winners of the semi-final matches have not even started and u pool fans are already talking about trophy no. 6, meeting AC Milan in the final, etc. Nothing is cast in stone yet, my friend. All the four teams are equally strong and each have an equal chance of going into the final. So, don't count your chickens before they are hatched. Where r u guys going to hide ur face if u get knocked out by the blues? :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Rooney up for Milan test:

Wayne Rooney wants to help fire the Reds into the Champions League final by proving this United team has vastly improved and matured since losing to AC Milan in 2005.

The Reds meet Carlo Ancelotti's side two years since losing 1-0 in both legs of the Champions League last 16 against the Rossoneri.

After the match Sir Alex Ferguson intimated that the defeat would mark a watershed in the development of Rooney and several other young United players. Now the 21-year-old forward, who scored in both legs of the Reds’ quarter final triumph over Milan’s Serie A rivals AS Roma, is determined to prove his manager right.

“Since those games I’ve learnt a lot from playing with good players around me,” he told United Review. “But it also helps just playing Champions League football regularly.

“Back then it was my first year at United and I was finding my feet in a lot of ways. But now I am settled and playing much better football. I just hope I can help us do well and help the team get through.

“We’re a better team than two years ago. Then we missed too many chances, but I’m confident we’ll take our chances tonight.”

Milan are seasoned campaigners at this level, and have reached the quarter finals and beyond in each of the last five years, including their 2003 triumph at Old Trafford.

Their focus to claim a seventh European crown this season has been sharpened by the weekend confirmation that local rivals Internazionale have secured Italy’s Scudetto.

“The Champions League is probably the one trophy that they realistically have a chance of winning,” adds Rooney. “So they will be even more determined in this tournament rather than the Italian league. But we are right up for it as well, we want to win this trophy. We have to get a strong start at home and take a good result into the away leg at the San Siro.”

me predict man utd 3-1 ac milan

Goaaallll!!!!!

1-0 - C. Ronaldo... or Dida own goal.... did not matter for me as long as Man U win :)

Yah, Man U win can liao. GOAL...........

sianz..1-1 just as i switched on my comp..sigh

darn..kaka scores his 2nd..signs of poor experience by the backline..

Half-Time : Manchester United 1 - 2 AC Milan

gd start for us but too bad 1 brilliant goal by kaka n 1 stupid mistake by our makeshift back 4 makes it hard for us...

tatz wat i feared most...our defence killin' ourselves... :mad2:

with Evra missing next match, there's one more backline shortage and it'll be a very difficult task to play at San Siro..

Come on you Reds! At least one more goal from anyone in a red-shirt....

Brilliant Goooooooallll from Wayne Rooooney!
