Very nice shot...
superb lighting...
hmm suppose the water did help in the lightings..

Wow! Simply amazing beauty.

It's always my dream to dive amongst a school of Manta Rays.
A friend did that in Australia and i'm darn jealous of her

Thanks for all the encouraging feedback and comments!! I was really lucky with the positioning and the natural lighting.

It was the first time with Mantas for me and a lot of dive buddies on this trip. Everyone was awestruck by these creatures. They are beautiful.

Yes i believe the dive site is near Madivaru in South Ari atoll. Maldives is great for Mantas (amongst other things!) and i think Sangalaki too, but ive never been to Sangalaki before. Having been to the Maldives, i would whole heartedly recommend it!

Sankalaki you see them in schools of ten or more even but its more for the experience. If you want to shoot the vis is not suitable for wal, lots of particles. Theres a jelly fish lake too like the on in palau, zillions of non stinging jelly fish. Great shot btw.
Anymore shots you have with more space around it?

simply beautiful!!!!

can't wait for my sangalaki trip!! 3 more weeks!!
Hope i get vis like that lol

May not be a good thing if the viz is too good at Sangalaki.

At another more convenient location at Bali, there's one dive site where Mantas are spotted almost everyday.
