If i can remember correctly amk mscolor have that one and cathay photo also have. Should cost around 75 bucks

GN40M for $90? If Suntax were to do that, it will render all their current lineup unsaleable since all the existing models are rated lower than that and yet still cost more.

the manufacturer only can make a few sets just for us but they cannot find the thyrister that can produce such high GN...

Must make a manual flash power control also....that type variable ones, not just low med high.

What's the second lowest rating flash that they can make?

I emailed suntax, and they said that that they only have one with GN32. GN40 is only avaliable as handle mount.

Email them again to see if they can fix the problem. maybe they can get the stuff now?

Imo, $70 for kako 9000 is a lousy price compared to the 40GN.

Or at least, the 36/32GN version. Kako 9000 only GN24.

If it works out I might conduct a MO, but can only confirm for the GN3x ones, GN40 one cannot gurantee got unless its the handle version.

I just wonder how "accurate" would be the GNs? You may get a GN32 flash but the power might end up similar to a GN28 flash from a more established maker...

if you mean an established maker like vivitar, then you shouldn't have to worry because suntax OEMs flash products to vivitar.

i think they OEM flashes to some other well-known brands as well, but vivitar is the first that comes to mind.
