Sorry to OT, 1 quick qn. How u guys meter if say u reverse mnt a 50/f1.8 to a 10D? Care to explain a bit?

Or I will have to get a ring-type Nikon F-mount and rev it on a 10D bod?

Anyway, PQ23, when will you be ordering the rings?

Other than the metering, I think there's no way to change the aperture of the Canon 50/1.8 manually without coupling it to a Canon EF body,since it doesn't have an aperture ring.
But there's a work around to it I think.

Other than the metering, I think there's no way to change the aperture of the Canon 50/1.8 manually without coupling it to a Canon EF body,since it doesn't have an aperture ring.
But there's a work around to it I think.

Yeap! Agree... No way to change the lens aperture unless u use Nikon lens with aperture ring.

How abt mount the lens first then fix ap at say, 2.8 and shutdown, reverse. Not sure whether it stays.

I think I would shop for a Nikon lens with aperture ring to control the aperture. No choice...

You can actually, just mount the lens normally in Av mode, select the aperture you want, hold the DOF Preview button down den unmount the lens.

You can actually, just mount the lens normally in Av mode, select the aperture you want, hold the DOF Preview button down den unmount the lens.
