I live in Bukit Batok also. Got free transport I also can't make it because I work night shift -- can't wake up.

Next time perhaps.

Oic, I saw your posted shot thought you were one of participants, maybe can kopi sometime or shoot at little guilin, i stay walking distance to it, but never shoot sunrise there before  :)

Here are my shots, using EPL-1, Olympus UWA lens at 9mm focal length, CPL filter. 4 shots tone-mapped using Photomatix, and PP using LR.

Pic 3: Love this one best

C&C welcomed, need to improve as this is my first sunrise shoot in Spore.

Realised that the tone-mapped shots were not sharp probably due to noise and maybe slight movement as I have to take each short individually.

This next shot was in Raw, and PP using LR for comparison.

Is it me or is there dust on the top centre left portion of your sensor or lens?

At first I thought it was when I was on field, then realise there were some dark cloud

Nice series bro, i usually prefer exposure blending (personal preference) , though your tone mapped is not that overcooked either:)

If I nitpick a little, the perspective distortion on #1 & 3 is rather apparent, can be corrected a little, & right of MBS is chopped off, perhaps you were trying to save the left buildings. Perspective distortion can be corrected also when you are shooting upright, meaning the lens is placed perpendicular to scene.

Brilliant effort for first sunrise!

Double confirmed, saw the clouds in a few shots of mine.

Must say amazing photos for many first timers shooting sunrise, way better than when I first did it:)

Saw you guys have pretty nice tripod. what kind of tripod you guys are using? care to recommend the brand and the price too for the OMD? tks. :)

Wow! You guys looked like you had a great outing. Nice!
And looking at the group photo, a number of the faces look familiar, I seem to have seen some of you before. :D

Actually, I was inspired by this thread last week, and I went to the same place on Aug 1 to try out.
I must say, you guys had better luck because of the nice cloud formations you got that day. Mine was a much clearer day, so looks more boring:

Olympus OM-D w/ Panasonic 7-14mm at 14mm, f/22, 40sec, ISO 200. (no PP, just some cropping)

Thanks for the feedback, have not learnt how to correct the perspective distortion!!! :)

Sorry for late posting, been busy with the video, G5 photo selection (not even halfway done yet hahaha) and National Day stuff at work, here's my rendition of sunrise pano, didn't shoot much as I was busy videoing away and as well as being half asleep ahahha
